He's getting regular caps for Australia's national team and has been a regular starter for Hearts. I wouldn't be surprised if he slots in next to Bartlett as the other CB starter.

I watched his ‘all touch’ v Barcelona (some years ago, Busquets was playing).
He’s a lefty centerback, seems good on the ball and rangy. He’s not particularly big or fast, but he’s not small and slow.
He seems like the type of centerback Lesesne wants. He and Bartlett can cover ground I’ll bet.
No idea about his actual defending, but probably better than McVey immediately, not that he was terrible.

I like it because they need a good centerback, I’m glad to see a little money spent there. Hopefully he’s actually good.

Correction, we had Brad Smith in 2022. Forgot about that one.

Disappointing that we aren't returning to SA for the second annual Bonesaw Cup. Team is missing a big opportunity to piss off their fans.

Kim Joon Hong is officially signed. Goff reports it as a U-22 initiative deal but the team's press release is silent on that aspect.

If it is true, here's his injury history from TransferMarkt:
The man's spent quite a lot of time on Sick Call.

A perfect fit for DCU! Bargain basement bin signing. He’s barely played the past two years.

This roster is taking shape quite nicely for a major run at the spoon.

I have no problem with it.

DC gets a DP central defender to challenge Bartlett and Rowles. If he can't return to fitness, well, he doesn't cost that much anyway.

Who? Leal is a winger. He’s good, but always injured, like a slightly younger Najar.

I stand corrected. He played 117 matches in four seasons with Nashville across all competitions. That’s plenty. Recency bias I guess, only four matches last season.

17 goals, 21 assists with Nashville, that’s just ok really, definitely not Denis Bouanga. Costa Rican international, fwiw.

If I’m being optimistic, I can see him replacing Arriola’s numbers and impact, finally.
