hope we win and keep the difference at 4 points to shut down any attempt from osasuna/lpb to get those 3points again. https://sports.yahoo.com/article/osasuna-considering-filing-complaint-against-153500575.html
Flick said benching Peña was one of his toughest decisions of the season and I think he felt a bit bad having to do so.
Feed Lewa!!! It would be so satisfying to catch Mbappé for pichichi Those were Lewa's 100th and 101th goals for the club, BTW
Unconfortable truth: With a win today, we finish with 88 points, only 3 points more than the campaign last year with Xavi. (We finished 10 points behind LPB.) We can't count on LPB having such a mediocre season again next year...

So, losses to: Villarreal Atleti Leganes Las Palmas La Real Osasuna. Of these 6, Osasuna was a rotational nightmare, Villarreal was after the parade. Leganes and Las Palmas were disappointments, while @ La Real and Atleti cant be surprises. (Although Atleti was down to poor endgame tactics.) Turn the 2 bottom-feeder losses into wins, and one more draw in there, and Barça finish with 95 points.
That's true. The Nov / Dec stretch was very unusual given how the rest of the season went. Having said that, dropping so little points up to Nov and in 2025 was also unusual. We probably should have dropped more here and there (Atletico comes to mind and some other late winners / remontadas). This team probably should have ended with around 93-96 points. Having said that, since 17/18, last year's Madrid was the only one that scored more than 88 points. So getting into the 90s hasn't really been a requirement to win a title. Surely they will come better next season, but their point total this season flattered them IMO. We will see ... each season is a new story and the league overall can get stronger or weaker. Either way, this is a much better team than Xavi's and we also had to deal with going deep into the CL and deal with the CdR until the end ... and still held up in La Liga.
102 goals in LaLiga , 174 goals in all competitions , third highest of all time ( Pep first ,Enrique second )
2-3 , extra time and 4 vs 4 in our half is insane , even if Flick didn't ask them the players should have went back to defend ( still think it was a foul against Martin but that dumbass should have cleared it instead of trying to control it near our area)
