Putting on a show for Djokovic.

The results today put Barca in 6th on the table.

Hope Cubarsi can recover in time for Sociedad.

Barça aren't quite as deep at CB, until Eric/Araujo/Christensen are available and fit.

Yeah, 10 stitches in all. He is young so it should heal w/o too much of a scar. I had a 6-stitch cut on my forehead when I was around that age, and it is barely visible today.

So, just for fun, if CL league phase ended now, Barca would play (in the round of 16) Arsenal, Juventus, Feyenoord or Clube Brugge depending on the draw and results of the playoff round. Though I don't see Arsenal remaining that far in the table, with Odegaard now back and the hardest part of their schedule behind them.

And if they get past that round, in the quarterfinal it would be Monaco, Brest, Leverkusen, Lille, Benfica or AC Milan. :geek:

He was hit on both sides ?

Reminds me of Puyol , hope he keeps this courage throughout his career although I wish he could be careful sometimes if it's too dangerous.

Playing Brest at home tomorrow for the CL. Brest currently sit 4th on the standings with 3 wins and a draw. But the best team they've played is Leverkeusen and it was a draw. So they haven't really delivered a big upset because they haven't played any so called big team. Lamine will be missing again so lets see if we can get a result without him on the team.

Brest have also lost 7 of their first 12 Ligue 1 matches, so it appears they are not as good as last season.

Barca can realistically be sitting at the top of the CL table after this week as the 5 teams above them all have difficult fixtures. Of course, we don't really want Liverpool to lose, but LPB do have their number.

Brest put all their efforts into the Champions League and neglected the league. thiers budget is only 48 million euros, and they already earned 18.3 million euros just for qualifying for the group stage, and another seven million thanks to three wins and a draw. They also secured qualification to the next stage (according to the predictions that 9 are enough to qualify) which guarantees them at least another 275 thousand euros. So they neglected the league in the first part of the season in order to earn huge sums(for them) in the Champions League and then they can bring players in January in order to stay in the league.

Barça need a result today, for a few reasons:

    1. The last 2 matches have not yielded positive results; a win is needed here, to re-establish momentum.

    2. Need to shut the pieholes of the media and all the critics that claim that the team is reliant SOLELY on Yamal.

    3. Flick needs to bounce back, in that he was earlier criticized for his rotation decisions away to Osasuna, and NOW, him not being able to shift gears tactically from attacking to protecting a lead in the last match at Vigo.

    I want a scalp today.
