SMS reportedly already has a deal with Juve worked out, €6 million a year. Juve is willing to spend €70 million on him. He wants the move to happen too.
I am not a fan of the move, I just say it right away. We supposedly don't have money to fire Allegri but we are able to splash 70 mil on a position that does not need strengthening (with Fagioli, Miretti, Loca, Pogba and Rovella next year we are pretty mich set). Classic Juve. Like a pin ball, random movement all over the place.
Sounds like Weston will be gone come January. Mckennie e non solo, via a gennaio: la Juve fa spazio e cassa - JuveMagazine
SMS is in his prime now and his stats are excellent. He will replace Rabiot when he goes and can improve our squad further. He has everything in his locker and if we don’t move now for him he could go and strengthen the likes of inter or Milan. I think it is a great move as along with Rabiot, Mckennie could also be on his way out. It’s a great prospect to have pogba, locatelli and SMS as part of our midfield.
If they all stay healthy that would be one of the strongest midfields in Europe, esp. when you add in Fagioli and Miretti.
Tottenham interested in McKennie and will supposedly be making a bid in January. Rumored asking price between 25-30ME. By all means, 30m thank you.
If he keeps playing well in Qatar, up it to 50! then we will be getting close to being able to afford SMS!
I would certainly offer him a contract, but can’t see his mum accepting a deduction in wages. We have to keep our players on sensible salaries until the club gets back on its feet
Why would you offer a contract to a player that is only playing lights out because his contract is running out? Does no one remember the first three years?
This will not be a surprise if it happens: https://football-italia.net/juventus-set-price-tag-for-chelsea-spurs-and-man-utd-target-mckennie/
Truthfully, what has McKennie done for us? You can place him alongside with Rabiot as midfielders who someone might pay us for who has only one really good game every handful.
I guess that's a fair point. Perhaps the way I should have put it as a player who had potential who (a) hasn't lived up to it and (b) probably never will.
Di Maria could leave in January as he has offers from Argetina and MLS. Bye, don't let the door hit you on the way out.
I would keep Vlahovic until the summer at least. We need to see how he fits in when we have Chiesa firing on all cylinders, and Pogba back in the team. I think we should be more potent in attack and create more chances with the right formation played
If we let Vlahovic go, this club is more hopeless than I thought. We've seen enough of him already to recognize how great he can be. We already know the albatross that is Allegri. No question who should go among those two.
