I suspect some of these conversations were about voting in the midterms Maybe it's best we leave voting intentions to those who wish to indicate how they will vote and everyone else it is their own business.
I hope I didn't hurt your feelings. It's just that you say a lot of stupid ass shit. And as an O.G. Bernie Bro, your staggering ignorance and stupidity makes the rest of us look bad.
Set aside the primary vote? I'm dubious about that, but I want to hear the reasoning, so I'm willing to entertain that.
I don’t see you trolling the Bernie supporters that repeatedly claim Biden has a youth problem. curious. Curious..
I’ve kind of accepted the reality that, today, in the midst of one of the biggest “socialist” bills ever getting signed by any recent POTUS, America isn’t ready for “radical” change.....#irony We didn’t have the numbers, so there’s no point in fighting it.
I've always had the theory that there are change elections and steady as she goes elections (don't @ me Brummie!) e.g. 2008 was a clear change election, driven in a substantial way by the GFC, but also by the obvious bankruptcy of the Bush regime By 2015/16 there was a real populist insurgency underway - not least in the form of Brexit My feeling before this crisis is people were really looking for a return to some safety at least in the US. Who knows what this crisis does? But I think in the UK, suddenly a return to normality is vastly more important than populist projects like Brexit
So this is where totti is coming from, just so you're aware when you reply to shi!tposts he deposits over here. I knew I realiSed why a supposed aussie has such vigour to do so on this thread: it adds flavour and humour to his life. Carry on, then.
The last few pages of this thread are quite something. if Ronan Farrow, Jodi Kantor, or Megan Twohey were to publish something about Biden, then yeah. But, as it’s being boosted by the same people* that promoted hashtags about Biden’s mental health, uh yeah no. *: I was also skeptical about the oppo on Bernie, because a lot of it was out in the open. Then that Tim Mak article dropped and that was a doozy. I’ll also add that the claims about Bernie oppo were coming from non Trump GOP operatives as well.
I would be shocked? There is a point when the US media starts to cover the scandal as the story and the underlying facts aren’t as important as making sure they cover the he said/she said aspect of the story.
See I would be shocked if the story continues. Her story constantly evolves, she hasn't gone to these outlets in the first place (or has and was brushed off), and there is a global pandemic.
Dude, it is not about disagreeing with me, it is about disregarding the basic facts. Case in point, when you argue the Trump point that the economy should reopen after or around Easter, that flies to the face of any scientific evidence not to mention an underlining moral questionable issue. I could go on and on about other similar postings. It is getting tiresome and embarrassing. I am not trying to be patronizing but just try to think a bit more before posting.
I don't know about that. It seems to me that the main purpose of the big stimulus bill is to keep the old order from collapsing, not to start any radical change.
