SHOULD isn't WANTING. Our President is a train wreck, and I'd rather see Biden out there giving real info and callout Trump on his BS. This is me calling out his critics. Biden did exactly as he should have. He waited for Trump to get his act together be the ********ing President. He shouldn't get crticism for that. Now that we see that Trump isn't up to this, he's again taking the right course of action and trying to interject himself.
He also doesn't want to make things complicated for the Democrats as to what they should do. Biden doesn't have a hand on any of the levers of power, but he has a very big soapbox. If he takes a position that is out of line with the Democrats in Congress, they'll face a lot of questions/criticism about why they aren't in alignment.
I might be projecting a bit to be honest, but I remember in 2016 libertarians - and one of my best friends is libertarian - getting really attacked on FB and other online places for Trump getting elected. Something I thought unfair since that lot hasn't voted for a mainstream party in pretty much forever. Oh, and I can also see some confusion due to my ambiguous use of "primary opponent". In the case I meant his main general election opponent - Clinton.
Dude. His entire focus this week has been on the virus. Apple Watch notification: He hasn’t been asking for campaign donations. Im pretty sure the entire tone of his campaign will change. Either way, admittedly I’m not sure what his endgame is other than just ensuring progressive topics remain on the front burner.
I am literally not trying to start anything, I just choose the P&CEs three Independents. I had not read where Timon and Moishe where leaning but I remember Stanger saying Joe was tolerable so I went with that. I was trying to start anything, I repeat.
It is the year 2050, on the bigsoccer election board, the 2016 election is still being discussed. No one remembers what caused Hillary to lose, but we're still debating it. Put simply: We've debated this enough!
One of NYC's newspapers and a front cover of Governor Cuomo dressed as a chicken because he didn't want to debate Republican Marc Molinaro. Cuomo gave in, debated, and won 59.60%-36.07%. That was a smaller margin than Democrat Kirsten Gillibrand over Republican Chele Chiavacci Farley for senator, but Cuomo still won easily. Biden doesn't need criticism for refusing to debate, doesn't need to embarrass the Democrats and/or TV by canceling a scheduled debate because Sanders is the only one willing to go, and doesn't need to give Sanders supporters a reason not to vote for Biden (Sanders supporters should like Biden a million times better than Trump, but don't count on voters being rational). Furthermore, if Biden refused to debate, it might become a televised Sanders speech if TV didn't want to show something else when the debate was supposed to be. According to https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/trump-approval-ratings Trump's approval is getting better. He had a positive differential for under a month, it was 0.0% on February 2, 2017, and it has been negative every day since then. He's now at 44.6% approve and 50.5% disapprove for a differential of -5.9%. That's his best differential since it was -4.5% over three years ago on March 13, 2017. I'm not saying he will win, but he hasn't done anything that hurt his approval and made it stay down. There have been 58 presidential elections. The 57 elections other than the first one had an incumbent during the election whether he ran or not. The incumbent ran in the general election 30 times (52.6 percent) and won (you can guess how many times) Incumbent winning percentage (Move your mouse to reveal the content) Incumbent winning percentage (open) Incumbent winning percentage (close) 21 times, which is exactly 70 percent . In chronological order with W meaning win and L meaning loss, incumbents have gone W-L-W-W-W-L-W-L-W-W-L-L-W-W-W-L-W-W-W-W-W-W-W-L-L-W-L-W-W-W.
This is a soccer/football site. Could you translate? Perhaps, Hillary was up by a goal in the 90th minute, and was beat by a bad penalty* call (damn you, Ref Comey) and an own goal in injury time. *No VAR in 2016.
Like I said, global pandemic means i am done making excuses for what was obvious. Hillary even said it! But yeah - we have other shit to worry about right now.
I feel like this has got way beyond politics It doesn't matter if you want M4A or a conservative wet dream of repealed O'Care or frankly whatever We have to get these incompetent grifters out before they kill even more people than Trump just did in recent weeks
