We’re obviously not getting either Alves or Jimenez. I wonder if we’re getting anyone else at all. Aside from Trincao and Pedri we’ve been very subdued this transfer window. I’d say we need to focus on our backline for sure. Can’t rely on Pique and Lenglet alone; especially not in CL. Garcia seems to be on his way back, though I fail to see how that improves our defense. I sure hope he proves me wrong. As far as our attack goes, Dembele is the X-factor for us this season, although I have lost confidence in him ever reaching the potential he was bought for. Aside from that, at least at the moment, Fati seems to have eclipsed him. Lots of uncertainties going into the new season.
Well we have no money because we decided to keep Messi for some reason, so this lack of buying is totally expected. My estimate is we save at least $100mn by saying goodbye to Raki, Luisito, Vidal and Semedo but I suspect that just means $100 mn to pay for Messi for 1 more season , not $100mn available to spend now.
So far we have generated 47.5 mil. from sales and loans. In the next few days we can add another 25.5 mil. if Marlon (Sasuolo) is sent to Fullham and if our board accept the 18 mil.offer of the Premier League team for Todibo, which will likely happen. That will make the total of 73 mil. and with that money we can buy Aarons, E.Garcia and M.Depay.
Unfortunately, you are absolutely right. All these money will go to cover Messi's salary. We have to sell some more players to create funds.
Sport.es just published an interview with Koeman where he basically says that even before he signed the club had already made some decisions that included departing with Suarez and loaning out Puig. In other words, the media has made it look like he’s the villain in this story while there is much more to it, as I suspected. This club really is in shambles when the coach has less of a say in who he wants for his team than the board.

CENSURE MOTION UPDATE: The verifying of votes has begun. This will take up to 10 working days so we should know by October 13 if there are enough verified signatures for the vote of no confidence to take place. No doubt, the two board members on the Table will look for any and every reason to invalidate signatures.
Figo, Zidane were great dribbler with physique like Trincao. They beat opponent by skills and technique rather than speed.

Some good news .. Barcelona presidential favourite Victor Font says a clear plan to bring back the glory days to La Liga giants involves the old Barca dynasty of the likes of Pep Guardiola, Xavi, Andres Iniesta and Carles Puyol breathing new life into the current one.
SPORT lists the candidates running to become the next president. https://www.sport.es/en/news/barca/...place-bartomeu-as-barcelona-president-8178739
It seems like no matter who wins the presidency this will be Koeman's only season as coach regardless of performance and trophy haul. As great as it sounds to have those former players return I still feel Koeman - a former player himself whose name is forever etched in the club's history - should be given a fair evaluation after the season. But it won't happen.
He started really well for two games ( ?) but kinda disappointed since .. some positives in Pedri , Fati and Dest though Also saw potential with FDJ and Pjanic together.
