"It is a dream come true" 🔴New Manchester United signing Odion Ighalo has arrived in the UK from China— Sky Sports News (@SkySportsNews) February 2, 2020
Dont get the negativity - important point against Wolves puts us on 35. Another win might be enough, but only need another 5 points for safety.
https://www.fourfourtwo.com/news/manchester-united-director-football-search-stall-report And there it is. I suppose it was a matter of time before we see such a report. Woodward and the club have BSd everyone, every which way for over a year on this matter. Only for things to be business as usual in the end. It will not surprise me if the club were to hire Poch in the summer, if Ole fails to make top 4 or win the EL, as a measure to try and bring the fans onside. This weekend was not the right time for any type of protest against the hierarchy, but I hope it resumes and kicks into gear after the break. Enough.
Our exclusive extended interview with Ed Woodward is coming up on #mutv at 7pm BST. #mufc pic.twitter.com/WEbPV87j1A— Stewart Gardner (@stewartgardner) July 20, 2014 Coming from MUTV, it will surely be very soft but probably still worth checking out to see what bull will be coming from Woodward.
Derby (and a reunion with Rooney) are on deck for United in the next round of the FA Cup. Don't expect this to necessarily be a walk in the park. Especially consider it's at Pride Park.
Odion Ighalo not going on @ManUtd training camp to Spain for fear travel restrictions will prevent him from getting back into country. Scott McTominay + Axel Tuanzebe are going. Paul Pogba staying at home. Lee Grant our for a few months due to operation.— Simon Stone (@sistoney67) February 8, 2020
Out of 98 teams in Europe's top five leagues Manchester United rank 21st in chances created and 58th in quality per chance created. pic.twitter.com/ADnO1QTGeU— UtdArena (@UtdArena) February 8, 2020
Interesting interview with Fred; https://metro.co.uk/2020/02/08/fred...teds-dressing-room-12203814/?ito=newsnow-feed ‘We also need to improve as a group, our group lacks the ‘sticking together mentality’, we have lots of problems.’ ‘We need to be on the same page and today some players have different objectives, there are players that just want to solve problems alone and this is wrong.’ Wonder who he is referring to?

More Woodward bullshit? 'overwhelming priority'.... https://www.espn.com/soccer/soccer-...-important-transfer-window-in-summer-woodward
Mauricio Pochettino has a great interest in being #mufc manager. He and his people are targeting the job and believe they can convince the Glazers #mulive [duncan castles, @TransferPodcast]— utdreport (@utdreport) February 11, 2020 Other outlets are reporting of his interest to return to the Prem (which already sounded like a 'come and get me' plea to United). Don't doubt that the bosses back Ole but with Poch available and wanting the job, it's hard to see them sticking with him should we fail to reach CL.
Castles taking it a bit further, indicating that talks have happened on some level. Definitely reinforcing the point of view that at the very least, Woodward may be putting some kind of contingency plan in place.
Provided it holds, City's CL/Euro ban is a great opportunity for United in term of their chances to make it to the CL next season. But we're still talking about 6 teams duking it out for 2 spots: Chelsea, Sheffield Utd, Tottenham, Everton, Wolves and us. Teams currently separated by just 6pts. Not going to be easy and we really need to put a run together, starting with Monday's game vs Chelsea.
Are United a good defensive team? https://thebusbybabe.sbnation.com/2...s-manchester-united-are-a-good-defensive-team Interesting and in depth look into our defensive setup.
#MUFC are currently 9th and 41 points behind the league leaders. It really is impossible to imagine clubs of the same stature, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, plodding along with the same manager.— Sam Pilger (@sampilger) February 16, 2020 Food for thought...
Our slate until the end of March: -2/20 Club Brugge (a) EL -2/23 Watford (h) PL -2/27 Club Brugge (h) PL -3/1 Everton (a) PL -3/5 Derby (a) FA Cup -3/8 City (h) PL -3/15 Tottenham (a) PL -3/21 Sheffield Utd (h) PL Big win today but lots of games coming up and some pretty tough one on paper. If we can negotiate the next few Prem games coming up, it could go a long way in giving us a real chance at reaching top 4-5. With more players coming back though, Ole will have to do well in terms of rotating some guys, with freshness down the stretch a big key (as we saw again last season when the team was fried physically for the most part). First things first though, as far as the league and our pursuit of CL football next season are concerned, we can't wet the bed vs Watford and waste today's result. Have to insure we get all 3pts next weekend.
Wow what an exclusive scoop for The Sun - there us a puddle outside Carrington. The comments are funny Phil Jones’ £165k yellow Lamborghini splattered with mud https://t.co/jbIy7AQJ9P— The Sun Football ⚽ (@TheSunFootball) February 22, 2020
interestingly enough we are still the 6th best attack in the league BUT we are now the joint 4th best defence. tied with city who haven't been great and neither have we as seen this weekend but my start of season fears about goals have shifted from those we score to those we give up
We still have a problem with goal scoring. It has been papered over by Rashford and Martial scoring at a higher rate than xG. Part of the reason all the "look how good Lukaku is doing" comments grind my gears is first he demanded to leave if he wasn't first choice and second that he is the most service dependent forward we've had in years and if he's scoring it is because he's getting plenty of chances. Aside from that, we need to create more chances, I suspect that Martial's finishing is down to him being an elite finisher, that just seems to be his ability since he's been here. Rashford looks like he's making the leap, but he scores worldies and nobody can do that consistently.
Yep. I mean you are 4 points ahead of Arsenal who have had bottom 10 data for large parts of the season. 10 points separate the middle table 10 sides from Utd to Newcastle Essentially an obese bellcurve gut of mediocrity
