Tranmere it will be then this coming Sunday, after they beat Watford in extra time. MULLINNNNNNNNN 🤩#EmiratesFACup @TranmereRovers pic.twitter.com/fyJQ0wpMQL— Emirates FA Cup (@EmiratesFACup) January 23, 2020 The pitch they'll be playing on looks pretty poor btw.
It's the hope that kills... But then again, he really has himself to blame for being so unpopular with the fans.
From The Mirror so we'll see how legit it actually is but that would be near ideal. It's a lunchtime game, so it will have tons of eyes on it, both domestically and internationally. Doesn't even need to be the whole stadium: if 10k of the people there were to do it, it would be very noticeable. Just have to keep this sort of thing going until we see some kind of reaction from the Glazers and/or Woodward.
What would be even better is not buying any tickets in the first place. An empty stadium and no match day revenue is the most ideal of response.
bingo. some still don't get it after all these years. they already have the gate money. what happens after is irrelevant to them. the ones who aren't buying merch or tix have it right. the sponsors should be OK too since most of the viewership isn't physically present
People not going to games or an empty stadium will never happen, even in anyone's most optimistic dreams. This is about the optics and the fact that it will talked about by everyone. No one believes that doing this type of thing just once will be the answer but it will be talked about by most news outlets and that is not a good representation on the club any way you cut it. And bottom line, no single action on its own, will be effective in all likelihood. But a series of them, over a period of time might have an affect. Patience is also a prerequisite because as the Green and Gold protests showed when the Glazers first took over, those guys have a thick skin and things are not going to change on a dime.
…. The Glazers are now asking questions of what happens on the pitch, in terms of which managers are hired and where money is spent. Before, Ed Woodward had more autonomy in this area #mulive [duncan castles, @TransferPodcast]— utdreport (@utdreport) January 24, 2020
How Woodward has become despised by United fans. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2020/jan/23/manchester-united-ed-woodward-glazers-fans-manager I guess everything is possible, but despite anything he may have to say, there is no chance Ashton or anyone else for that matter who can change Woodward's perception among fans. The only thing that can is simple and straightforward enough and that is to (at minimum) remove himself from all football related matters, hire a DoF with significant authority and make decent money available for transfers. Anything less and he'll more than likely remain one of the most hated man in sports. It is what it is: any goodwill towards him is gone after years and years of BS and lies.

on the thing a few posts above - the idea that Woodward's fate is tied to Solskjær is laughable. then again it is Liew so not surprising at all his fate is tied to the Glazers. the reverse is true though. Solskjær's fate is very much tied to Woodward and if he decides to get deals done for him. Woodward has been immune to performance based anything for as long as he's been there. the idea that that magically changes now is... well....
'Nuff said: talk about falling off a cliff... Manchester United currently 33 points and counting from the summit of the Premier League, it will be 36 if Liverpool win their game in hand on Saturday - more than United's own points tally... https://t.co/MY2wcwwg9G— Colin Millar (@Millar_Colin) January 27, 2020
I'm repping this out of acknowledgement of you bringing this stat to my attention. Not because I'm happy we are a crap load of crap right now

Not the best of starts for 2020. Man Utd have collected just four points in the Premier League in 2020, only Palace and Brighton (both 3) have accumulated fewer.Losing ground in the race for a top four place. 😬 pic.twitter.com/hXoUcTL5Ex— Squawka (@Squawka) February 1, 2020
