Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on Anthony Martial's absence to MUTV: "He didn't feel right after the training yesterday, or (rather) he walked off during training and he's injured. So hopefully it won't be too bad but I don't really know yet how long he'll be (out)" #MUFC— Simon Peach (@SimonPeach) February 27, 2020 According to RMC, it's muscular (thigh): Martial hopes to be ready in time for Everton but unknown at this time. We better hope this is nothing serious that will keep him out for an extended period of time.
Rashford has been given the go ahead to step up his rehab. https://www.skysports.com/football/...ester-united-striker-cleared-to-step-up-rehab
I saw that article and I was furious that a journalist actually had the balls to type that out as if it were news.

Jones picks up another injury in training. https://metro.co.uk/2020/06/10/phil-jones-misses-manchester-united-friendly-injury-12833996/ I do feel bad for him personally to a certain extent that he's so fragile and is incapable of remaining fit. That being said, the time has come for the club to cash in and get whatever they can for him. Even if we're just looking at 15-20mil Pounds, it's money that can be added to our transfer kitty for this coming window.
Unfortunate for him. I'm sure we will see a few more players with injuries due to the extended break.
lol why is this even worth mentioning? he's a non-factor and that's been made abundantly clear for over a year now
Tuanzebe & Jones injured and out of Spuds game. Tuanzebe is a concern - was due back having played in the reserves after a long lay-off when the season halted. If this is another long-term injury and if it is hamstring again or some such I fear for his future at this level.
Injury update from Ole. Solskjær: "Phil [Jones] and Axel [Tuanzebe] will still be out for a little while. It’ll be a few weeks before Phil can start training and Axel, we won’t probably see until September." #mulive [mu]— utdreport (@utdreport) July 3, 2020 A real shame for Tuanzebe: essentially lost the whole season due to injury. Definitely a source of worry in terms of his long term prospects at the club. Still hoping he can get over those issues but at the same time, it can't be ignored either. As far as Jones is concerned, if he's out for a long time, it will be a setback in terms of selling him this summer. We'll see what happens there...
Why Lindelöf came off today at HT. Solskjær: "He [Lindelof] struggled today with his back, hopefully won’t be too bad." #mulive [bt]— utdreport (@utdreport) July 4, 2020
Phil Jones has had a knee op. http://oldtraffordfaithful.com/phil...r-knee-surgery-to-clear-out-persistent-issue/ The fact he has been out for a while and not training is probably why this thread has been so quiet
i thought he meant why there was no news of him period - i.e. transfer talk, injury update, anything. actually on that, maybe his strategy to stay here is to injure himself right before every transfer window so he can't leave
I'm genuinely a little concerned about going into next season with no CB reinforcements. We cant march out Maguire and Lindelof for 60 games a season and after them we have Bailly whos never fit, Tuenzebe whos never fit, Jones who is trash when fit, and Rojo who thinks defending is getting more leg tattoos and seeing if he can kick the ball over a mountain. Lindelof is an average CB2 but a great CB3. That should be the goal.
He's home, he's fine. Won't be eligible for the game vs WH though. Great to see Eric Bailly healthy and well after his injury scare yesterday 🙌❤️ #MUFC pic.twitter.com/ejobCZFOHh— UnitedReds (@UnitedRedscom) July 20, 2020
