It's time to get the Grand Tours started! Provisional start list: http://www.cyclingnews.com/features/provisional-start-list-for-the-2016-giro-ditalia/
Gilbert has pulled out for BMC. He's had a miserable Spring. Also a contract year, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him move.

Take it for what it's worth... http://velonews.competitor.com/2016/05/news/500-motor-checks-and-counting-at-the-giro_405332 UCI: 500 motor checks and counting at the Giro This is good though It has checked “A” bikes, the ones used by the racers each stage, as well as spare bikes on the top of team cars and at team hotels.
Really fun Giro so far. Lots of changes in the maglia rosa so far. Kruijswijk has been impressive. Congrats to Alejandro Valverde for winning today's stage. Sprinters stage tomorrow, then more mountains to come.
Kruiswijk has been a revelation, as much as Nibali and Valverde have disappointed. The Giro always has better mountain stages than the Tour imo.
Stage 19 is going to be massive. Look at that thing right in the middle! And stage 20 is going to be similarly ridiculous. I can hardly wait.
I remember when the Tour climbed the Agnel from the French side in 2008. I remember tour winner Oscar Pereiro crashing over a barrier on the descent.
