If that's the venue, and it's in december, they should do it either on Dec 4th, 11th, 18th or the 25th. :D

^^^ Hmmm... Mundo Deprtivo suggested that friendlies against Arsenal, Udinese and PSV were possible as part of the deals that brought over Cesc, Alexis and Afellay.

lol Lukas Podolski playing at Camp Nou. Would love to be there for that.

The Gamper Trophy will finally probably be played on Monday 20 or 27 August. It'll be more of a fan day, without top-level opponent. [md] June 4th BarcaStuff
Earlier (June 3rd) he said: Arsenal are main candidate to be Gamper Trophy opponent on Sun 12 Aug. Arsenal sources have confirmed possibility. Decision on Monday. [md]
(May 28th) he said:Barcelona will play the Gamper Trophy game at the Camp Nou on Sunday 12 August. Arsenal is a possible opponent. [el mundo deportivo]

match 4 now , after we won the previous one we are ahead 2-1 and could end it today , 1-1 in the first half with 10min to go , will be pretty hard to win since this game and the 5th decider incase we lose this one are both played away in elpazo's but we can do it

    leading 2-1 now

incase anyone is interested , its 1-1 at the end of the first half in the decider , referee's seem to favour the opponent and we have wasted plenty of chances , its really not fair to let us play 3 games away specially that the crowd are affecting the refs , but anyways im all hope for the team to defeat all circumstances and win it in the second half

That would be cool if they brought back and honored some of the players from that match in the Gamper pre-game.

It would be cool if we had some nice-looking orange away kits this year.

Well, we have orange ones this year... "nice-looking" is the debatable part ;-)

(from barcastuff; also if a wrong thread obv feel free to move)

Rosell said something like "now it's not an option but when we can finance it, we will hold a referendum on renewing the Camp Nou or building a new stadium".

Now, I was like woot: "building a new stadium"? Does someone know anything about this, if so, I'd like to hear. I wouldn't bet it happening anytime soon, but didn't know it was even an option.

Well, a few years ago there were plans for a major renovation of the Camp Nou. Here are a couple of renderings:

...I give Rosell a big thumbs up for this:

...And as for posting in the wrong thread, isn't it time for a new Season Thread? Moc moc is so 2011.

Agreed, anyone want to start a pre-season thread? Usox's post with the current sched would be a nice thing to quote in the first post...

Yep renovations are one thing, but a whole new stadium? Ps. lol at the first of the two pics posted (as if Barca would make a white seats stadium).
