That was a disgrace that wall we set up on the last goal. The problem was not only Fabian either, but if he would have done that in a qualifier with his national team he could have been pulled out of the match by his coach.

If that low shot was down the middle of the wall they would have still scored any way. Make the wall and jump like a machine? Once you make the wall then jump before the shot is taken when you don't even know what kind of shot is taken because you jumped early? If the shot is low and has something on it they are going to score against us.

At the 91st minute and down by that score? Yeah, I'm sure the coach would pull him out then.

I think you missed the point. That was a sorry excuse for a wall but somehow seemed a fitting exclamation point on a washout of a game for the Metros.

I don't care when it happened. Point is it should not have happened. You think it won't or could not happen again in another game in the first minute the way they played in the wall?

Could call it bad coaching of the set up of the wall. I would call it that.

That wall is perfect explaination why this team is just horrible. No heart, no spirt, no anything. The guy on the end, Guevara(?) just turned away. What the heck? Walker messed up on that one goal, but you saw how upset he was to see how unspirited they were. Show some pride man.

That was Fabian, but the others also made mistakes in it. The keeper directs the wall set up. Once the wall is made he expects the wall to hold.

Youth teams make a much better wall then we did.

Set up a bad wall it is another problem for the team to fix. When it happened in the game is irrrelevant.

Other than playing keep away I wonder what these MetroStars do at practices. Obviously set piece defending or marking as well as wall formation work is not on their list. Very poor on defending in our box overall and pathetic on balls in the air so it does not surprise me our wall sucks as well.

And it was Guevara, not Taylor who turned away and lifted his foot.

i'd guess they also practice corner kicks by Magee when Pope and Parke head them over the net while Walker practicing on dribling around the cones with forwards:)
