I had the pleasure of watching Eddie for a couple years at RSL, and not only was he a great player, what struck me the most was how calm he was on the pitch. He rarely showed any emotion on the field, yet was the best defensmen the MLS has seen. And without Eddie at the back, our defense is going to struggle a bit. ...Wish he'd reconsider retirement...
Where are they going to go from here? I can see Eddie coaching and Cobi in the booth with Waldo and Fathead O'Brien or that little Scotch turtle Tommy Smyth.
Re: Thanks Eddie for The Memories I have nothing but good memories of Pope. He was and continues to be a class individual.
