To ESC Metro Members and Members-

Thank you for supporting the MetroStars all season long through what has been probably our most challenging season to date. Way back last February during the ESC GM's forum we made a special offer to the ESC.

The offer was that if the ESC Membership collectively purchased 50 or more Special ESC Metro- Memberships with the Away Game Jersey - we would fund the snacks and bevy's for one of your away game road trips.

We are happy to announce that you exceeded that number and 75 ESC members now own Metro-Memberships. As a result, we are loading up your bus tomorrow with snacks and most importantly beverages . We are also throwing in MetroStars tailgate chairs for everyone on the bus as an added bonus.

We sincerely appreciate your support this season, and your membership delivered for us this past off season. So- thanks!

Also, as you all know- we are playing our playoff games at Riverfront Stadium in Newark. We have set aside section 121 which is a corner section right near one of the goals. There is plenty of rail space to hang ESC banners- so hopefully you'll be happy with the location.

Tickets are $25 in advance ($30 at the door)- we're not sure if day of game sales will be possible. With only 9000 available seats, we expect a sell out in advance. So if we have seats and we can make accommodations for day of game sales we will- however it will most likely be a pre- game sellout. So if you can, please make arrangements for advance purchase. If you already own Metro Memberships in Section 101- Section 121 tickets in Newark will be shipped to you.

Thanks again for the support- enjoy the snacks and bevy's on the bus tomorrow ! We'll see you next Sunday at 6PM in River Front Stadium in Newark!

If I were the ESC members...the terraces would be where I would want to be, or in section 109. Section 121 is a joke. That is completely out of play. This seems to me like ESC is getting shafted so the team can accomodate to other fans.

The new stadium...if ever built should definately have a terraced section. That would be amazing.

Not really. Remember, this is a Soccer game, not a baseball game. We aren't 100% on how they are laying it out yet. What if it goes from right field to left field? You would rather be in 109? We can't complain about the seats until we've been in them. Plus, 121 puts us away from families and what not, which is important.

Agree, but all of the drawing of Harrisson show seats on both ends, so this might not happen.

I'd like to see in the Harrison stadium what some German clubs have....seats that fold and lock down to become terraces, best of both worlds since AEG wants to put concerts into the stadium as well

Not if the field goes to the right, not the left. Think homeplate to first base, to the 'foul marker' as the side lines. 121 is the corner.
