I think he has done a fabulous job with MLS. MLS can only get better with Mr. Garber. As someone else in another threads say, I only hope he stay with the league. What do y'all think of the work he has done so far.
Not too shabby. He was given the job of captain while the ship was sinking. He threw some excess cargo overboard and began to patch the leaks. Now he's starting to rebuild the old tub.
Thank God not another "relegation: is MLS ready?" thread from a newbie. Also, read the guidelines of the News and Analysis forum. This would be better off in MLS. But yeah, Garber's done ok.
I actually thought the day Garber was hired that he was an inspired choice. Unlike Logan, he knew exactly what he was getting into - he'd spent years trying to sell American football in Europe, which all in all isn't extremely different from trying to sell soccer in the United States. What he didn't know, he learned very quickly. Although there have been some disappointmenting developments during his tenure (Southlake, for example), I think he's done an excellent job overall.
OUCH!! So what you are suggesting is that since the Fire finished better than the Burn, Rapids, Revolution, United, Galaxy, Metrostars, Wizards, and the Crew, means that 90% of MLS is bad translated means that MLS is bad. What a statement!!
