This is my second trip to KC for a game, and once again you treated all of us from Toronto with a lot of class. I had tons of fun at the tailgate, and enjoyed chatting with so many people, playing beer dice, horseshoe soccer and taking a hit from the Hand of Justice. Best of luck this year (except April 26th. ) and if any of you come up to Toronto for the match, be sure to come visit us pre-game at the tailgate. Oh yeah, here are some pics from the day: http://www.flickr.com/photos/krazyfoto/sets/72157615777958364/ Cheers, KK
Just a minor point that could be passed on to the Wizards head office There was one security dude near the away section, and one entrance to the away section was open. Some morons who should have been shot, taken outside and beaten with a stick tried to start some shit. (funny how none of them were wearing Wizards kit) Could have been uglier if these morons really tried to do something other than lip off. Dunno how often you guys get visiting fans but if sizable contingent does show up, another security dude on both ends of the away section could have ensured stuff like this doesn't happen. Otherwise, the security staff were pretty darn good and no problems at all. Cheers
Since we've moved to CAB, we have had more traveling supporters than I remember in recent past. And I think they usually have some minor complaints about d-bags trying to enter the section. Luckily, there haven't been any real incidents. I think that for the most part security has been good. But with a new season, comes the possibility of different stadium staff and different rules. Hopefully, they continue to be solid.
just to clarify, there was a 2nd dude around 75min mark to escort us out after the game. however, there wasn't a 2nd security dude until that point
I'm glad you had fun in KC and I have nothing but positive things to say about your whole group. I think everyone had a ton of fun..........how can you not when beer die and the Hand of Justice are involved! Best of luck the rest of the way. You'll have to brush up on your beer die skills prior to your visit next year and have another go.
He won "Project Manager of the Month" at work and that was his prize. So, he decided to bring it out to the tailgate..........wouldn't you? It was pretty hilarious.
He kills boars...and then carries around their heads as a warning to Toronto fans, and I think it worked..No doubt about it.
