Just noticed that too -- added above. JK's team is also on early next week, but who knows if he will be anywhere near it.

does anyone know if FSW picks these games because of the Yanks Abroad factor (and subsequent interest) or if this is just a random occurrence and we're fortunate enough to get to see some of our guys play?

obviously, one game has Bayern Munich in it, and they always like to show them. and usually they have fewere choices on a sunday, and the everton-middlesborough matchup may be the best one.

but still i'm curious about how FSW picks their games.

My own personal observation re. the Bundesliga games is that we usually get the "best" (with best certainly being a subjective term) game on Saturday (1 of 7) and Sunday (1 of 2). Certainly, there are exceptions to this general rule, but more often than not it is the most appealing game. For example, the Cottbus/Bayern game may be the most appealing match-up on Saturday, since it pits the current table-toppers and uber-team versus the gutsy underdog which is the hottest team in Germany. Last Saturday's game was Schalke/Dortmund, which is a hotly contested derby with considerable significance for CL qualification.

Too bad some of y'all don't speak/understand Spanish, they're showing all of the Copa Toyota Libertadores matches on FSW En Espanol also. Hopefully one of these days we'll see MLS teams in that tourney.

That's probably a good thing. The games seem to be staggered in that the games in Spanish come on when the games in English aren't on. So I can spend whole weekends watching game after game after game...............not very productive unless I decide to start moving up the coaching ranks, huh?
