Not that anyone seems to care...but here's the rundown:

    Thai U23s** team scored first
    Bent scored
    Game ended 1-1

    Went to penalties

Apparently Yobo's penno was atrocious (Yobo out!) ;)

    We lost 5-3

Did any of our overseas folks watch the match? Care to comment?

** Yes, we played the U23s. It looks like the full National Team is being saved for Real Madrid next week. :(

This coming from a 12 year old who supports crosstown rivals Spurs and Chelsea. That would be like one of us also supporting the RS. Get a clue.

And with regards your comments about us losing...it was a friendly, in extreme weather (very hot and humid) and we have about 17 players on our squad. I'm not making excuses, but stating facts.

I'm actually not bothered with the loss. :)

The heat and alien conditions were to faulty there.

preseasons all about gaining fitness...nothing better than gaining fitness than gaining it in 90 degree heat. If you can go 60 mins there, you're all set for the season then. :D

Yeah, it doesn't bother me much. I mean, it's only preseason... don't want to waste all our energy on some pointless Thai team when we have extra games to play this season. :D

Yes, only an exhibition game. But come on guys, against the thai under 23 team? How do you expect the world to respect your team in the CL? Not only was the routing against arsenal embarassing, this is much much worst. No matter what type of game it is, where was the pride?

I watched us get run around by Club America in Houston last summer. At that time everyone thought the team was going to be relegated. Preseason. Yes we lost to a team with less talent. It doesn't go in the books for any points though. They'll be ready come August.

That's such a crap thing to say. The bottom line is that it IS an exhibition game and it probably meant a whole lot more to the Thai team than it did to us. I really don't see what the big ********ing deal is.

If we play like that in the regular season, we deserve some criticism. But until then, can we please stop using this as an indication of how we're going to be in the CL? We all know that the preseason has absolutely nothing with the rest of the year. It's a chance for the boys to get fit and nothing else.

A bit touchy here. All I am saying is that they are not starting the season on the right footing. I hope for your club that they prove me wrong, but I really don't see them get out of the group stage at all.

Again, you guys lost to the under 23 thai team. Moyes was ashame about that result, and he should be.

I'm not touchy. It's frickin PRESEASON, which has absultely nothing to do with the regular season.
