I dont really watch the usl. The only usl team I've seen was charlseton vs TFC. If toronto was to face montreal today who would win?
Right now. Montreal. They have a better coach and better forwards, midfield and defense. TFC has a better goalie. But we stole him from the Impact. This team is horrible right now. It's night and day what happening in the stands and what's going on on the feildturf pitch.
If you went to our website, http://torontostalinistsfc.blog-city.com/ you'd know that all Toronto Stalinists, all 135 of us ,and millions through-out the soccer world that we as a collective group support the club- but we have a huge issue with the ownership group and how they've put together a terrible on feild product. We also think the U-sector guys are wankers, but that's besides the point. And that's why we put up the giant Stalin portrait on at the Joe Stalin End to claim it back from corporate supporters groups.
And it just goes to show why FCStalinists revels in being ignored. Nobody here gives a FF what he (or she, I can never determine which ) thinks.
yes and all those imaginary people who've paid 15 bucks for our t-shirt (look for about 30 of them at a TFC away game this year) or the 15,000 hits a week the web page gets. We have Americans thinking that their is a Stalin end in Toronto. Hahaha. http://files.blog-city.com//files/O06/59567462/p/f/toronto.jpg
WOW, wtf? it's safe to say you're (stalinist) not only a disgrace to Toronto FC, but to the whole human race.
I think the Impact would have a difficult time facing toronto FC at BMO field. They would spend to much time thinking 'why don't we have this big of a crowd'. A serious Canada cup tournament, would push soccer to the next level in Canada. Who cares if it is compatitive except for 3 teams. It will get bigger each year.
You continusously post crap like this, and other people are the ones who need lives? Practice what you preach, oh wise communist.
To attempt to answer the question a little more seriously, if they played a home and home right now, Montreal might actually win. TFC has superior talent at almost every position, but haven't developed any chemistry yet. (Somewhat similarly, I suspect the 1999 Rochester Rhinos double champions could have beated the 2000 "worst club in the world" MetroStars through a whole season, even though the latter had more talent). Give it three months, though, and there could be a dramatically different story. Montreal increased its budget to be able to maintain the PR appearance of still being the best team in Canada. They will be able to maintain that appearance as long as TFC are losing every game. Soon as they've won a few, however, it'll fade away. That's also why they might not play each other soon. The two have little to gain in proving themselves superior on the field, and potentially a little more to lose by not proving it.
I actually watched the Lynx draw 1-1 with the Impact last fall. Personally, I would say, in a competitive game, it should be forgone conclusion that TFC would win. Much as I value the USL as a league, MLS really is a much, much better quality. Notwithstanding Stans comments about chemistry of course. TFC has too many good players to keep losing like they have. The season starts tomorrow! To the stalinist, I thought you were being quite amusing for a change until you talked shit about shooting up a school. Poor taste mate, bad form!
And I might be willing to revise my opinion now. That was a good effort from TFC, for the third game in a row. Cohesion is forming, and there's no debating you have some players, like O'Brien for instance, that would be a huge handful in the USL. (I don't know how they would stop a Wynne either.)
