So far, 3 matches have been played. The MLS teams received 4 red cards. 2 of them were 2nd yellows for dissent. Remember that letter from last fall? That chicken is, once again, coming home to roost. MLS needs to take a tougher line on dissent.
you're kidding right? Where you at any of the three games? Have you ever seen a Champions Cup game refereed by a CONCACAF referee with home team linesman? Dissent and MLS have nothing to do with it.
It's at least POSSIBLE that our guys are used to getting away with a certain level of dissent and then when they play elsewhere, it creates problems for them because they get booked for things that wouldn't even get them a sideways glance here. I assume that what you're saying is that the refereeing is so bad or one sided that no matter what we did here at home, there'd be dissent when our guys played in these games???
