Well everybody, its about that time again. Time to kick ass and take names. I've taken over for Marcel as team captain so God help us all. We ended up 2nd in the table last season. Lets see if we can do better and maybe make it a little farther in the playoffs this time. Although the time off was nice. I called ClubMonkey today and the schedule is still not out yet but he did say games would be on for THIS THURSDAY APRIL 26TH. As usual, games will be played at the Post Oak YMCA which is located at 1331 Augusta. Our schedule should be here. Look to this page in the future for game times as I might not be on top of that all the time. Weather/rainout information can be found here. All are welcome and please post here if you plan on playing. I am still working with Tonya and we still might be able to receive a partial or full sponsorship. We will just head over to the Mezz instead of Vitos after the game to get our drink on. That's it for now. As soon as I see the scchedule I will let everyone know. Are you guys formed a team? I'm wondering where can I play soccer in Houston. I live in Harwin somewhere near Gesner and Bellaire. I'm not a very talented player, but I do play for an amateur team in my home country before. I'm wondering that whether I can join you guys playing, or training. Because maybe I'm not good enough for your team but I just wish to play and I'm eager to play. I used to play central defender but after I came to US. I'm not tall enough to stand on this position. Therefore, I switched to play the position of full back in my previous college in West Virginia.
Yeah, the TA plays in a league every week ('cept when it's rained out...didn't we have like, 4 weeks rained out in a row at one point? ). Every talent is taken. PM Marquez for details and info. It's more for fun than anything.
