Unfortunately I'm not at A&M this year (damn parents!), but I'll start a thread and get to as many games as I can and keep you folks updated. Gig Em Ags!

I haven't seen us play yet, but I know we're missing the playmaking abilities of Amber Childress. Although the losses are dissapointing, we've been playing some pretty damn good teams in a relatively short period of time, and we are still without our senior defender Jessica Martin. Against UNC we played Amanda Burke at defense when she is normally our outside midfielder, and she's very good at distributing the ball. I think all the the girls need is a chance to get everyone healthy and gel, and I think they will prove themselves as a top 10 team once again.

Aggies beat TCU 3-0. I'll have comments and a link later in the evening.

My thoughts: The girls looked tired today, it was their second game in as many days. Despite this, we totally dominated TCU, who had only one real good chance all game. Amanda Burke was playing out of her normal outside midfield role today, getting most of her minutes playing as a stopper and central midfielder. She hurt her shin with about 15 mins to go, but she told me she should be allright for the next match. I think a number of starters were rested today to give our freshman a chance to play. Laura Probst started on the left side of the midfield in place of Juli Goin, and it showed that she was a true freshman. Not a bad job though. Kristin Strutz was her normal reliable self in the center midfield, and had to play in the defense for a while due to tired legs in the back. Andrea Starnes came off the bench and was spraying dangerous balls all over the field, I would definately look for her to start next week. Also returning next week is our senior defender Jessica Martin who has been rehabbing a knee injury and hasn't played this year. All in all it was a pretty good game for the Ags, and as I stated earlier, once the girls get healthy, have everyone playing in their normal positions, and get some playing time together, this will be a very good team.

Just an update on the Aggies. If they win the next to matches, as well as the Longhorns, we'll be set for a bigtime match in College Station Nov. 1st. The remaining matches are at home, where we have an all-time record of 83-10-0. Gig Em Ladies!

I'm not sure, we used Holly Davis in her place who is a true freshman. Unfortunately, I dont think Martha will be back in time for the game against the Horns.

As I posted earlier, Aggies crush the Cowgirls 5-0 and will play Colorado at 7:30 tonight. You can get live stats from the Longhorns website, goto www.texassports.com, then click on soccer and look for the Big 12 Tournament link.

The OSU game was a great chance for G to rest a lot of the starters, as he used everyone on the bench. This should have us fresh for tonights match.

    Whoop!!!!! Gig em Aggies

Hey..............greetings from St. Louis. I have never attended TAMU myself, but a couple guys I went to HS with went there and one of my best friends in the world is going to school there right now. Well because of their influence I am a huge Aggie fan except for when they play Mizzou (I know we all have our flaws LOL). I just found this thread today, but I wanted to say "Kick the hell outta everybody else", (especially ut)

I just want to say thanks for making the trip all the way to Atlanta last Saturday to support the Beat. Keep it up!

I hope you get a WUSA team in the near future.
