In da soup. Listen mate. A club's size is determined by turnover. Spurs, Hammers and Chelsea are all very similar.

Winning the league doesn't make a club BIG, it just means that they have good players. I can remember Burnley, Ipswich, Notts Forest and Blackburn all winning the league, but they're not big clubs.

Chelsea had won sweet FA before the Russian cash came in and bought the team. I'lladmit that the others you mentioned are big clubs, but the Arsenal are probably the biggest in London with the Hammers having the potential to be the biggest. A new stadium is on the cards and they have the largest catchment area.............Spurs? Do me a favour.

Your 100% right Tony. Chelsea are probably not quite as big as Spuds or us. They become one of the big 4 because of Romans money, no other reason.

    you wish they were similar

chelsea's turnover dwarfs the others you're living in cuckoo land they get far more revenue from television not just domestically but in the champs league they have a bigger capacity and charge far more to attend and they sell shirts by the bucketload successful clubs always do and their sponsorship deals with samsung and adidas are in a different stratosphere

by your criteria the gaps even bigger than i thought

    your ignorance astounds me

gullit and vialli won six trophies between them

spurs are much bigger admit it it doesn't make them better

of copurse they are better because they finished higher

In da soup. Look my friend, your workmates are probably doing that because they aren't yet nappy trained.

The Russian was there with the previous managers. You get your facts right. Before he came Chelsea had not won the league since the 50's.

Look at the cash turnover figures. Check companies house. All three clubs are about the same turnover, so end of story. You are talking the proverbial bollocks sunshine.

I never said that Spurs are a smaller club, I said that we were similar in size. The same goes for Chelsea. The Russian has been there longer my friend. Bates sold out to him. Check your dates and trophies.

As for the legal arguement, my brother is a judge and he say's your talking bollocks too. I think he understands the law a little better than you do sunshine.

Don't pay attention to in da soup... He made such a fool of himself in the Argie forum, that he fortunately left out of embarrassment. He makes stupid assertions, and the worst part of it is that he argues them over and over...

Truth is that Chelsea are not a big club, they are a rich club thanks to a generous benefactor. The increase in their support is largely due to fair weather supporters who will just as quickly desert them when the money is gone.

I think in da soup is leaving Da Vinci style, secret, subliminal messages in the words that he bolds.

Pick 'em all out of this thread and I bet they make a sentence!!:)
