Winning the league doesn't make a club BIG, it just means that they have good players. I can remember Burnley, Ipswich, Notts Forest and Blackburn all winning the league, but they're not big clubs. Chelsea had won sweet FA before the Russian cash came in and bought the team. I'lladmit that the others you mentioned are big clubs, but the Arsenal are probably the biggest in London with the Hammers having the potential to be the biggest. Your 100% right Tony. Chelsea are probably not quite as big as Spuds or us. They become one of the big 4 because of Romans money, no other reason.

Truth is that Chelsea are not a big club, they are a rich club thanks to a generous benefactor. The increase in their support is largely due to fair weather supporters who will just as quickly desert them when the money is gone.
