    Now, THIS is funny:

Estamos seguindo o contrato passo a passo - garantiu.

I guess they had "second thoughts" on a young player with problems of behavior. Anyway, it will be good for him to play in Brazil. He certainly will mature here, where there is a more competitive environment than in Argentina and supporters don't stand for enfant gâtés. In a year he will be ready for Europe, I think.

That's a good point neo. Although after his performance in Copa America, I expected more interest from European clubs. No offense to the Brazilian League intended, it just seemed like more of a lateral move. Maturity will come with age and experience, unless he is another Edmundo.

No offense taken. It seems to be a lateral move, but if you are a Brazilian (or know Brazil), you understand that the Brazilian and Argentine leagues are very different. They have basically two big sides playing for two national championships every year in a country with 37 million people. We have 'only' one Campeonato Brasileiro every year and much more competition for the champion escudo (shield?) on the jersey. Besides that, in Argentina Tevez is the darling of the most popular team and of the media. But here he must work hard to get some respect. That's why I think he will mature. Or become a new Edmundo, as suggested by Tostão (you are in good company) :)
