Many will put Cubillas at the bottom of the three but it's worth saying he has 10.0 ratings in Sofascore at different World Cup tournaments and eight years apart.

Who knows what he has at Copa America.

I am less sure though whether his club career is that good. I know many Peruvians think others have had (much) better careers.

    Three stars from different eras.

I lean towards Moreno. If Trachta10's work is correct, Moreno peak had +1.5 G+A in 1937 (34 goals and 16 assists in 33 games). Incredible numbers. Double figures as a playmaker and scorer. He didn't have that many seasons with those numbers, but he seems to be one of the players who has reached that level of scoring goals and creating play, even for a short period of time

Cubillas' figures for '78 are slightly inflated by one match rating 10. Even so, in 1970 he scored more than one goal a game and made more than two key passes. Excellent.

Sadly, we don't have any assists data for Arsenio Erico

Damnn sure u knows alot! Thanks mate for the information that’s amazing! I quite agree tho he’s truly one of the best that’s for sure

but u know that erico holds the all-time record the highest goals in a single season in Argentinean League with 47, scored 132 goals in only 96 Argentine league games in his prime between 1937 and 1939 but yeahh he’s a striker not like moreno he’s an attacking midfielder and w that statistics that’s make moreno more great

In pure skills it's Cubillas, he is more than thirty years younger than the other twos. Football improved considerably in that time.

But a greatest list would probably give Moreno, Erico and Cubillas - in that order.

Well, I think all three would require improvements to handle Premier League anno 2024. It's impossible to know how much they would improve with better and modern training, though, so can't really say.

Maybe Erico, as a striker, would more easily reach a level able to handle Premier League. And as mentioned, Cubillas is more than thirty years younger than the other twos, so that makes him closer than Moreno at least.
