FORMATEAR! (ODIO ESTA ULTIMA)

    Buen post... Haddexxxx...

Seriously... i am a tekie guy, but i just had it... email followed me to my pocket even in cartagena... come on!!!! ok... enough waining. Watch this episode of tekzilla on revision3... it compare the iphone 3gs, palm pre and black berries...

We are becoming so gadget-oriented that we forget how to deal with people and our manners...

I personally hate smartphones, I'm in front of my computer 10 hours a day... Why should I check my email after that? I hate when people checks their blackberry every five minutes, because I know that it is not important 99% of the time... And do not get me started on texting, loud speakers and answering and (worst of all) making public restroom calls... EWWWWW.... You know some of your bodily noises get transmited, not to mention that if you have your hands busy, probably you won't wash them afterwards.... gross

yea I understand that would suck, I just really can't justify the extra 30 bucks a month ($360 more a year w/o tax) to surf the net on a 5 inch screen and get emails. If someone needs something they can call me. My gf has facebook on her iphone nad every 5-10 minutes it rings with a status update

My HTC touch Pro is the booommb..... I wouldn't go back to simple phones ever again. I have mines flashed to Metropcs so I'm paying for unlimited everything for just 43.00 per month because I'm in a family share plan or else it would have been just 60.00 per month.....

I'm about to add for just 5.00 more unlimited long distance calls to Colombia. Only downside is that is only for land lines for now.

Minus, is that $5 access fee + minute rate or just a plain fee for unlimited calls?

I'm thinking about getting the Magickjack for my family in Colombia.. Has anyone tried it? Sounds like a good deal...

yeah... i want to go to metroPCS too and get unlimited everything... i got the BB but i am not thinking of spending so much money on another phone for a long time. If i had the spare money... i would get another iPhone 3Gs and crack it and put metro pcs on it.

The phone has to be CDMA for it to be flash into metro. I think Iphone is GSMA. The black berry would work on metro pcs.

Metro was a piece of "......" six years back but not anymore. I've had the service for last couple of years and it's just fine. Their service keeps getting better as they continue to grow. They're currently working to launch LTE technology by end of next year.

I did not know where to post this... Finally I went for the technology thread.... Very funny/scary stuff...

Amazon redacts Orwell on Kindle like it's ‘1984’

Another big book blunder reveals dystopian reality of bad customer service

There was of course no way of knowing whether you were being watched at any given moment. How often, or on what system, the Thought Police plugged in on any individual wire was guesswork," George Orwell wrote in his 1949 tale of a totalitarian regime “Nineteen Eighty-Four.”

On the bright side, we've now identified the system. It’s Amazon!

Last week, flummoxed Kindle owners came upon the group realization that Amazon went and deleted their downloads of George Orwell’s “Nineteen Eighty-Four” and “Animal Farm … and the story just keeps being funny. Seriously.

“I've received e-mails today notifying me of refunds for $.99 for 'Animal Farm' and '1984,' and both have disappeared from my Kindle archived items,” Caffeine Queen reported Thursday, July 16 on the Amazon discussion boards. “I didn't request refunds, and I also don't remember purchasing the titles.”

“I liken it to a (Barnes & Noble) clerk coming to my house when I'm not home, taking a book I bought from them from my bookshelf and leaving cash in its place,” wrote Sunny Lady, invoking the Internet Age-old argument about digital rights management (DRM) technology that limits use of content and devices. “It's a violation of my property and this is a perfect example of why people (rightly) hate DRM.”

Yeah, i think a different approach should have been taken. Like, not selling the file anymore, paying who ever needs to get payed for what ever rights on the file... and keeping the customers happy.

This is the place where this was supposed to go! Technology... as a matter of fact i had a class about these types of topics in computer science called.... "ethics in computer science". I like these topics...
