An entertaining movie but Willis's character seemed to make a lot of moral decisions. The ending was too much with that one chick, Patience(?), making all those love and rememberance speeches. The gun fights were good though. I enjoyed the movie as a whole but thought that it could've been done better. They should've run into trouble first rather than going back and getting into trouble. That made Willis's character at fault for the deaths of his men, although it would've been there fault if they left the Nigerians to die. Anyways, discuss what you thought of the movie.
too many moral decisions that a "seasoned" SEALs group wouldn't make. the end seemed resoundlingly apologetic and suggestive that a 8 man SEAL squad could save a nation. decent action scenes. a good display of the horrors of religious/political conflict in africa but it didn't add up so much.
It sure was an intense film. People in tears during some scenes. The ending was too righteous. A SEAL member saying "These are my people too."? Still, overall 4/5 stars.
not bad for entertainment value. feasible, maybe, but realistic i dont know. sad to think that stuff like that is actually happening though, the whole situation in africa...siera leone, sudan, etc. i really hate to think that people can do that to one another.
