    With Boro looking more likely to go down than stay up, I'd love to see if we could get Tuncay Sanli. I'd love to see him in a real team, and I doubt Boro could afford him playing in the Championship...

    A midfield of Arshavin, Cesc, Tuncay, and Nasri would be unbelievable.

    At this point I would kill for a midfield that contained Cesc, Arshavin, and Nasri with no Eboue :eek:

    rather have morrison or downing, but downing is a bit slow

    I have an Henry DVD and in it he mentions how when he came to the club Tony Adams laid down the law on him, on the club, its history, what it means to wear that jumper...

    Bring him back for that one purpose alone thanks...

    I think Tuncay would be good fit for the team, he plays wherever there is space. And I'd have no problems with Downing since he actually plays wide.

    im loking at the f365 write in section... its funny how many fans of other big clubs are complaining about teams parking the bus in front of goal, yet would deride Arsenal and Arsenal fans for saying this has been hurting us...

    Chelsea should try and hire Sven from Mexico after he is sacked Thursday morning... would be a great hire... altho he wont have any money to spend

    (Of course I'm taking the piss. But actually, the guy's greatest crime was following Mourhino. Meanwhile in a season that they started piss poor, he helped to right the ship and drove them up the table, got the squad to play more attractive football and came within a John Terry slip of winning the CL. They really could do a lot worse).

    Scolari proved himself to be a terrible manager, and completely inept in the transfer market (despite the lack of funds). Grant seems like a dream in comparison.

    Holy shnikeys that's a great picture. I'll be laughing all day! Outstanding!!! That it's the West End Posers is all the more hilarious! If I didn't know better I'd say they were behaving like s**** with even more money!

    As for Scolari - This just in: League play does not equal national team play. Good night.

    its hard to compare him to past managers on who he has signed since he did not get the funds of those past guys


    I kind of feel Scolari got fucced over a bit... this team should have sold Lampard and Drogba over the summer if they wanted to play a different style... this group is also aging...

    in the end tho, signing Deco and trying to build the team around him was his downfall... and he is a pretty bad matchday manager (which is stunning considering this is how he did so well with Portugal and Brazil)... I cant think of many times this season where Chelsea turned a match around to win it (cept Stoke a few weeks ago)... Mourinho and even Grant did this often

    Further evidence that buying a team is not the same as building a team. Sure, Mourinho spent plenty of rubles during his tenure, but he had a structure. Grant worked with that structure and got canned (after reaching the CL final, to boot); Scolari worked against that structure and got canned.

    Would Zola (or anyone else) want to go near that plague?

    So glad to be an Arsenal supporter.

    Agreed Doug. To those here and elsewhere who hope that selling Arsenal to an oligarch is the answer to our "problems" needs to look across town at that whole situation. It's turning into Real Madrid over there. What a mess.
