“Unbelievable. What do you mean by that? In 35 years, how many clubs have I had? What do you mean do my methods translate? They have translated from Halmstads to Malmo, to Orebo to Neuchatel Xamax, to the Swiss national team, so I find the question insulting. To suggest that because I have moved from one club to another, that the methods which have stood me in good stead for 35 years and made me one of the most respected coaches in Europe don’t suddenly work is very hard to believe.”
We probably have to win 10 of 12 games and no losses as spurs and Newcastle are starting to get points. it seems like too much of an ask for this Liverpool team.
The next three games will be telling. IF we're still within touch of Spurs and Toon then maybe but given our sketchy form all season I think top four is very difficult for us now.
Xabi Alonso’s Leverkuesen with a big home win over Bayern, which keeps the defending champs in second place.
I see Roy Hodgson has taken over Palace until the end of the season. If he was looking for a job until the end of the season he should have held out for a little longer and the Spurs job would have been his.
Napoli v Bayern would probably be a great game.If Bayern beat Man City (tall order) then they aren't gonna succumb to a weaker team over the semi-final like they did at quarter last year.
I think we might want Chelsea to lose, just in case there is some weird scenario where: we finish 4th; ManU finish out of Top 4 but win EL; and Chelsea finish out of Top 4 but win CL.
Haha - but if that scenario occurs, ManCity will likely be docked points, finish outside top four and be banned from CL for X years...
