Messi has more hat-tricks this season than Carroll and Torres have goals.

Seriously- how shit are the English sides going in Europe this year. Embarrassing so far, one's out and the other three are on the edge.

Insua played against City, San Jose against United and Barragan for Valencia. Pretty good day for former players.

Yeh, saw two of the arseholes playing against Bayer today. Alonso and Mascherano. Wonder how we'd be today with them in the team. Bastards.

Spearing and Adam wouldn't have spots, that's for sure. (That's not to say I don't like Spearing, because I do, but he'd easily be third or fourth choice DM at that point).

Love Bielsa and this Bilbao side, their match against Barca is still the best of the season in my opinion. Really hoping for a Bilbao/Hannover final.

in a surprising development, Pep Guardiola doesn't want to swap Barcelona for a load of egomaniacal football-illiterate has-beens in west London.

    No....really..??? What a surprise!

This guy and his team are lined up for several more trophys in the coming years. Why go and fight to play his style of football for a rich "egomaniacal football-illiterate" club owner

Watched Chelsea this morning, desparately trying to give the game to a 10 man Stoke.

Stoke weren't having any of that nonsense though.

Maradona's playing style was a mix between Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez. And better than both.

    That is all.

At 1-1, with 2 minutes remaining and having a throw-in deep in Arsenal's half, Newcastle decide to get their right-back to take the throw, supported by 5 other players, ensuring that all Arsenal had to do was switch the play, use the 60 yards of open space and score in the 95th minute.

Newcastle deserve to lose that for their utter stupidity in such a simple situation. Footballers, coaches and teams really are getting more stupid by the year.
