Funny to see this on the same day the Guardian podcasters said that Benitez had turned down the job.

I don't know that that would affect Abramovich that much. Maybe he'll throw a sh*tload of money at Rafa in a last ditch attempt to make the Torres signing work.

I'd appreciate it if you refrained from talking about things that do not exist.

For some reason towards the end of last year, every time the opposition looked threatening i took to bellowing loudly in a fake german accent " Its ok. Torsten knows just what to do." and then about 30 seconds later " I told you so. Torsten always knows just what to do." :D You cant measure the impact that guy made, even old and slow his football brain is top class.

after 5 years of utter shite, this is a much better team now. Much better. Too bad Frings is 97 years old because hes the major part of it.

I still believe he fired himself on purpose to get away from Abromovich

And just because I saw that scummy bunch of arseholes being called the Red Devils on TV again. I decided to vent my spleen.

They are NOT the Red Devils, no freekin' way.
These guys are the Red Devils wearing this badge on their Red Berets.

Aquilani made a boner-inducing pass after he came on, that El Shaarawy should've buried from 5 yards. A worse miss than van Persie's.

    Aquaman.

It was actually Nocerino that missed the sitter, though El-Sharaawy probably should've scored one in the first half. Nocerino's was truly harder to miss.

Yep. Just realised my mistake and was hoping to sneak in a quick edit or two, only for you to use your pace and make me look bad.

Chelsea supporters in no doubt about their feelings for Benitez last night. A bit less cringeworthy was his interview on BBC 5 Live!, although more for the mixed metapohors than the substance.
