Love it Ajax fans putting the boots to the mancs who they got along with before this. Happy to see the mancs playing thursdays for as long as possible also. Right now they just lost Valencia for a month and are looking good for a short little day trip to -20 moscow for the next round.

Nice. I'd start chicarito if i were them :)

Rumours flying that PSG want Suarez and are willing to offer him "a way out"

    Great!

First I noticed that Evra did not start.
Then I saw an article where Ferguson said that he was resting him,
because he had an 'emotional' week.
Then I saw Suarez thanking Ajax fans, and I thought... what?

So - Suarez can face the music in Manchester, but Evra can't
    in Holland? What amazing hypocricy.

And maybe someone would not shake his hand?

Is it just me or can anyone else imagining this happening to our resident Italian?

That's what I keep hearing. Yet Serie A clubs have been the undoing of English clubs this season. I hardly watch any matches from there, so can't make a general comments, but they must be doing something right.

So, the stench of the week is Arsenal. Apparently some of their players are not good enough to challenge for 4th, let alone any sort of trophy. Now, I swear I've surely heard that somewhere.

James McClean really is Gareth Bale-light. Left winger, and has a similar running style off the ball and similar technique when running with the ball. It's quite weird.

Arsenal are down 1-0 in the 50th minute after Richardson belted one from outside the box after a Sunderland free-kick.

Oh, and Coquelin went off in the 1st half with a hammy after playing at full-back. There's something wrong with their strength and conditioning staff.

And now Squillaci and Ramsey have hobbled down the tunnel...53 mins gone and all subs used. Arsenal are a mess.

I watched until the half. MON has his tactics right, pressure from the back then pressure all the way, keeping the arse in their own half.
I'll be interested to see if they can keep it up, if they back down players like VP and Chamberlain can hurt them.

We had harder fixtures so far. That is the difference.

But it's not the harder fixtures that have us where we are today.

I watched most of the second halves of both Chelsea and Arsenal today. Both were awful. A real warning for us for tomorrow (and next Sunday).

    This is true!
As for tomorrow, well shit, I just don't know which team playing in red will show up.

Our first team or their incompetent evil twins.

Spurs held scoreless at League 1 side Stevenage. What a strange weekend, lets hope Kenny's men can buck this trend.

Well these seem to be professional community leaders who just want to show the constituency who pays their salary how tough they are. This is the tail end of the whole thing. I expect a contribution to their organization by the club will make them feel Liverpool has adequately addressed the issue. Not that I am cynical. It's not like Liverpool endorsed bigotry, or never had black players, or Latino, or Isreali players.

Gee, I dont know Kermit. It seems like this is a thread about Evra. And the subject is alive and well in England as much as some want to draw a line under it and move on. It's not like I'm drumming up Suarez/racist news items. These seem to be big newspapers who are drumming the story, and major organisations. Maybe concentrate on the subject instead of attacking the messanger. hmmmm?

^^ you really, REALLY, need to stop thinking everyone is attacking you. It's actually the opposite - he was just joking about the way your posts read - not the content.

Excuse me, quick question here. Do you really think that this is a thread about Evra?
    Just wondering.
