If ya ever want to meet Oasis when they're in NYC..just go to the Irish Pub..on 7th Ave and 54 street...True story...a guy from woodside went there to hang with Oasis..he brought his man city jacket...about 2 hours after he gets there..Liam is trying to walk out with his jacket..he grabs the jacket and says..yo wtf ? you can buy 50 of these jackets..Liam says..I was a prick before I made it..now I'm a bigger prick..walks out of the pub..classic liam :D

Hahaha and I see him doing it with that walk of his.Me and my friend always imitate that swagger, its hysterical. Watch the video for "Masterplan" the whole thing is animated and they did his walk perfectly.

I went to Forest Hills HS and remember our guys scrimmin' against your catholic schools a couple times. We won each time.

Molloy is about a half mile from my old school actually, and I hang out literally blocks away from St. John's Prep with some buddies in Astoria from time to time. We play pick up games at Astoria Park sometimes, though Flushing Meadows is infinitely better for soccer.

High school = good memories :)

Thanks. Just wondering, why don't you folks support the Pink Cows? Is it because they play on the other side of the Hudson?

I'm actually a DC United fan and have to take alotta slack for it from my fellow NYers. :p

Lots of different reasons..for me its down to :
    1. Security at the swamp..nuff said
2.Location..taking busses to the swamp...getting home 5 hours after a game..when I live less then 20 miles away
    3. Connection to the community ..I've never seen the Red Bulls on this side of the Hudson..Not even a Jersey..well I've seen the Jersey for sale in Sports Authority..thats it

Why did you become a DC fan ?

    I like DC's kit :)

Plus they have the best fan support in the MLS.

Other than that, it came down to supporting the Cows (crappy management) or the Revs (they play in Boston) for local teams. I thought the choice was obvious.

I'm a much bigger Tottenham fan though. What a rollercoaster ride that is.

What years did you go to FH? I grew up in FH. I know many people from the area and that were on the soccer team.

Fall 2000 to Spring 2004 when I graduated. Great school with a great history and tradition. I didnt play on the soccer team though, but I did know a couple guys on the team.

My friends were from WAY before your time. 1988-1990. Either way its all in the neighborhood. It you still live in Flava Hills there is NO WAY you couldnt come and join the party that NYCFC will be. You will literally be able to walk to the GAME!!!
