LOL maybe but when i was in school it was the other way around. I think that the only thing that cross could beat us in was in getting to the bus faster but only because you guys got out at 2:15 and we got out at 2:37

Belson Stadium is a great place to watch a soccer game, they also have a very good student section behind the other teams goal. At halftime the whole section behind the goal switches sides so they could always be behind the other team's goalie. And if you are serious about a few of you checking out a high school game, if you pick the right game you might be able to get yourself some attention with the local newspapers.

Do the LI Rough Riders still have a team? If so i would reccommend checking their games out. Had an Open Cup game there once was a fun time.

Ive grew up watching the rough riders back when they had Tony Meola! We should just go to games no matter if they are from LI or in the City. Never been to a Knights game, but im definately gonna check out the schedule.

I agree,Nassau and Suffolk would be a big part of a fanbase for a Queens or Bk based team. The sport is huge on the island and we shouldnt ignore the market.

rough riders are definately the U.S. club that gets my support this 'till nyc2 comes to life. going to local USL matches be it the LI RR, Knights, or even the Flames is gonna b key to spreading the word of Borough.

i also agree, 1000%. as i've posted many times before, Long Island has been an untapped resource of futbol crazy fans. most people don't even know mls has a NY representative.

LI RR are good for me. I live in Stamford CT, so West. Flames are close by for me. But its faster for me to get to Philly than it is for me to get to Brooklyn.
