Anyone see robben AND ribery retire here??

If they do, eventually they'll have to accept taking a backseat for the younger players though...

Not like how manU use giggs :p

I'd like Robben to retire here but I don't know if he can accept a bench role. He's probably too proud for that

As far as I know Ribery stated that he wants to coach the youngsters. How amazing would it be for him to coach the Bayern youth team? If he manages to do with them what he did with Alaba, I say we can plan on getting a few more trebles :D

SportBild once again proving that they have no clue regarding Bayern München. They claim that transfer negotiations with Alaba were about to break down over money while Boateng already agreed terms with the club.

Who's extending his contract first? David Alaba...

Pierre-Emile Højbjerg's father was diagnosed with terminal cancer 3 months ago, the lad was obviously heartbroken.

Salut to Uli Hoeneß and also Pep Guardiola to show what kind of club Bayern München really is.

Say what you want about Uli and bayern... But this man bleeds for this club....

I will always respect him for that..

It also shows why a lot of players tend it have an undying loyalty for this man.

Bayern more than just an employer, we are family. Ask Gerd Muller, Deisler, Breno, now Hodjberg

Wonder what the terms of Alaba's new contract are. I'm guessing over next few years, we are going to see the club raise their salary structure across the board to keep up with other European super clubs.

Pierre's father was for some time ago unfortunately diagnosed with cancer in the stomach. He had a conversation with Pep about this where Pep actually started to cry. Nonetheless, for about one week ago the Danish doctors said he'd have a difficult time to survive this and Pierre decided to search help in our fantastic club. Uli (once again with his pure heart) in the same moment as he heard this he decided to call the best doctors in the country and Pierre's father came to Germany. There's good chances for his father to survive now and it all looks much better than it was.

Hopefully we tried to trick Alaba and the contract is actually until 2028 and not 2018.

I don't think I can like a player any more than this without it being gay. Dante is, quite simply, the shit lol

They need to do it like the NBA and NFL were special recognition is given to the best defensive players in the world. I suggest a separate award maybe because I do think its unfair that their achievements get glossed over. Aside exceptional defensive performances Lahm provided 19 assists last season

Robben or Schweinsteiger over Ribery?? Last season? I'm not so sure about that! Prior to Ribery's injury he was far and away our best player outscoring and assisting Robben as for Schweinsteiger his poor form is well documented so far this season that rules him out already

Robben might want to go back to retire in Holland at some point but for now let's extend him till 2017 and take it from there

I'm pretty much relaxed and cooler than a polar bear colony I fully expect Kroos,Boateng to sign pretty soon! No player in his right mind would or could even contemplate leaving Bayern now! Any other team would be a step backwards

The Ballon d' Or is awarded based on a calendar year basis not per season. The 2013 winner is based on their performance in 2013, and Robben was unquestionably the best attacking player at Bayern in 2013.
