Nah, if I consider our last year's exploits too then there would be no space left on the signature to fill it all up! :D

I think you may be right.

To my native-English-speaking ears, he sounded unnatural / forced. But maybe this is what non-native English speakers need. I shouldn't forget that this is for all international Bayern fans, not just American/British ones.

I agree! Imo, it's his over-intonation, if there is any such word, is what makes it weird.

Nevertheless it's good that the club is coming up with new measures to reach out ot the world wide audience. I wonder if they'd do the interviews in English as well and if they do, would it have just the usual 2-3 players who are fluent in it. Most of the other news can be found on the website anyway and match highlights are all over the internet.

Haha, so you think we need someone to speak in a sing song voice for us to understand the English language? :p
As long its not the Scottish/Irish/Cockney version of English (which even native english speakers find tough to understand) or the 'redneck' version for that matter, it isn't that difficult to get it.
Also, Hollywood and American/British Television has played its part. I assume its easier for non native English speakers to understand native English speakers than the other way around.

Well, it depends. Maybe that video was aimed at people whose English isn't that good. Not like yours or anyone else on this board. I mean...really bad English. I dunno.

Just like the German language knowledge of a few posters here. Fair enough.

I've filmed and edited some video blogs and the quality is quite nice but yes the script and presence needs work. It doesn't feel natural and it's not easy to get that natural presence. I would imagine this will improve over time and become less smiley-cheesy in the scripting. I hope more of his personality comes out and develops a connection with the fans. The arena announcer did a few videos last year that were posted on Facebook and those were great.

This mole controversy seems like a ruse to me though I might be wrong but even if it were through its probably from a coach or a fringe player with plenty idle time on his hands

Its a very good development and a long time coming too but with FC Bayern's popularity at an all time high this would help get even more sponsorship and a larger fanbase as well. The domino effect would allow Bayern move more merchandise and then there's the small matter of player awards.

There's already an Official English FC Bayern Twitter account as well

I would absolutely love it if they find the mole and send it to the stadium for a few months. Even if we may miss him (lahm or Schweini or ?), it would be a great move IMO. Sometimes you need to lay down the law for the primma donas to know everything.

Though I have a feeling that Bild will reveal who it is themselves or "leak" it when the footballer retires/moves from Munich. Unless of course Pep gets several investigators to find out who it is, I would like him more if he did it. :D

    Hopefully this ends this episode..

We have bigger things to worry about.

Like CSKA Moscow in a few days, we need a win to lock first. Plus how will the their racist fans react to our team and how will we handle it

    Why not?

Bild has down the years got the tactics the line-ups right. This is not a new phenomenon. Bild, the german Newspaper have blasted both Schweni and Robben previously many times.

Lahm has never had bad publicity and besides he has some kind of advertising contract with Bild and its fairly possible due to this contract he is very much in touch with most Top Officials and gives them information informally.

I dont know but for so many years unofficially this has been the thought-process of not only mine but a lot of other Bayern fans.

They have got it right much more than everyone else combined and have got it right more often than not. A lot of nitty gritty unusual things they have always got right. The Goetze transfer was also first broken by them
