Well, like F96 said, it's his career. I haven't been bothered for a while because germany has a lot of other talents, so one lost won't be that bad.

LOL, I would be surprised if he finishes his two year contract. I wouldn't put past Uli to fire his ass even though they are buddies.

Besides, how many 60 something guys are actively coaching bar SAF,Jupp and Houllier? And managing a top European side mind you.

Since you'll also need a decent Left back, you can have schmelzer too. Hummels won't be ok without a good partner and Breno isn't going to be up to much so consider Subotic yours. In midfield, with Kroos out of the way you don't have someone to rough up the attackers so you'll need Bender, and maybe Sahin too in case Schweini moves away........now did I miss anything?:D

Vidal will do just fine, if not better. Seriously, unless Kroos starts he will whine the whole season. I really hope that he wasn't promised this just so he would re-up.

I really like Goetz... for such a young kid, he keeps his mouth shut and PLAYS on the field. I think he is someone who's older than his years.\

...and to bring this back on TOPIC,

I'm not sure what else they could have promised him. He was made a pro at bayern with much much bigger promises once upon a time........:p

Yeah, I saw that too in the TZ.

Well, Heynckes has not written a book yet and called out all of his bosses.:D

Let's just wait for a year or so until he is off the books for what he has to say about his time at Bayern.;)

Balotelli could learn a few things from him. Man that kid is so talented but is it giving it all away.

I don't even think Balotelli is THAT talented. He's very good but some people make him out to be the next coming of Pele. His "head" is NOT the only thing wrong with his game.

Agreed his talent is overrated. People make it seem like if he fixes his mentality, he will be the best player in the world. I don't see it.

Me either. Never have. Guy's never scored more than like 11 or so in a season and people say he's one of the best young strikers on the planet? His attitude is awful and I haven't seen him make a single play to atone for it. Granted, I don't watch that much Serie A or Man City, but I really don't feel too bad about it :D
