LvG said in SportBild the three-man midfield is a viable option against quality opposition when everyone's fit.

Germany star Klose demands Bayern start

LvG's response: "I always have to choose between Gomez, Klose and Müller, all of whom are good players. Klose can play when we have a lot of injured players. At the moment almost everybody is fit."

I remember some time ago LvG said that he likes Klose as player and he fits our system better.

He is not producing though, so it's normal Olic(last year) and Gomez(this year) are ahead of him in the pecking order

Of course he does, nt Klose in his prime would be the perfect striker for us.

I think even the current N.T Klose is good/perfect for LVG system, the problem is he isnt producing for Bayern.

Klose's form at Bayern is arguably a larger Myth than that of Robbery.

I just don't get it. It is painful to watch.

However, to his defense, many here pissed on about how "if only Gomez would get a chance to prove himself" (meaning consecutive starts), and low and behold, when LVG gave him the opportunity this year, he in fact started producing.

Strikers are needy little bastards. The need the love, the need the confidence boost, and when they get it, the produce. Then you ride that production until it dries up, hoping it last as long as it can... because ultimately, it dries up.

That is why you have a Klose and Olic.

    Interesting, thanks Hendrik.

I guess Kalle pushed for Klinsmann more than Uli then.

Nah, they're fine. As much as people want there to be a problem, I think it's overblown.
