Kluge's ventures after Metromedia was sold to Fox had nothing to do with the New York area where the MetroStars actually were. It's possibly a valid argument that he gave the team that name because it was similar to a company the had owned but saying its a part of his other ventures is a stretch.
Albino United Nat Geo just aired a documentary about this club. They play in the 3rd division in Tanzania. They have to travel with armed guards because it's common for albinos to be murdered in Tanzania for their "magical powers". So, if they're winning, they can't be changing opinions that much ("Those magical albinos win every game!") So are they changing opinions by being so godawful that they couldn't possibly have magic powers?
Haha good point, although it is working because albinos are usually in hiding in Tanzania, out of fear of being kidnapped. When people see them playing soccer with everyone else it breaks down their stereotypes. Albino United isn't that good either. They ended up in 4th place in the 3rd division last year.

Show me a current American sports team with a logo as bad as that. Not to mention the team name "Joe Public". What's that all about?
The logo is a joke, but I think the name Joe Public kinda sound cool. I like it better than sticking in random animals. IMO, these aren't any better than that
The Dolphins and Penguins logos are much better looking IMHO. They have a color scheme and don't look nearly as cheesy. The others ones are on par with Joe Public. The Raptors logo is really bad, a cartoon dinosaur WTF? The Indians logo is hideous, and on top of that it's extremely racist. I hate everything about that logo. That Celtics logo is dated (60's?) and has to go, although this is their most visible logo right now.
