Well they getting a little more in depth with their database, so it looks a little more interesting for next year. Anyone else play the game besides me? www.totalclubmanager.com they have some of the previews for next season up now. I was worried they wouldn't have football fusion next year, i love that feature, so i'm glad that's coming back as well. It's the only time I ever play FIFA, wish it was with WE7 or WTS05, but that's life. It's still fun to play with the team that I manage.
LMAO, I couldn't help but notice that most all of the Ebay TCM04's were from one place, and the manual was in Thai www.gameplay.co.uk would be a good choice, I think; I got both the 04 and PES 3 from there. Paul
I played the TCM 04 demo recently. Enjoyed all the options, but I do have to ask: did they improve the 3d match engine in the full game? And if not, has EA made any public mention (other than marketing droid speak) of improving this aspect? Because I had a few wacky bugs appear (single player running in a tight circle, everyone without the ball completely stopping).
it's both a pc and console game...as for the 3d match bug, never had that problem....So i'm assuming they fixed it for the release. They did have 2 patches come out to fix the bugs. I pre-ordered mine (well the 2004 version) from that gameplay.co.uk site. sucks that i'm in graduate school, i can't waste my time the way i used to playing CM and TCM. Oh well, hopefully this grad school thing lets me make more money and work less so i can waste more time and get my fiance all pissy....it's always a toss-up for my free time, play tcm or do wedding stuff. I hate wedding stuff... lol. But seriously, I love the game, it's fantastic. Now with the breakup of the CM makers, there will be 3 manager games out this coming season. It's going to be a toughy to decide which one to purchase.
GoGamer.com is where I bought Championship Manager 03/04. I would think if they imported Champ they would do the same for TCM, but that may not be the case
Finally, someone who understands my struggle, my pain! Oh..a kindred spirit, like me, torn between a fiance, and footie management sim..
I bought TCM 04 from a UK site. For some strange reason, the VAT was almost as much as the sale price.
that is weird that the VAT would be the same...mine was like next to nothing, I think I ended up paying $42 altogether. I got it on the pre-sale which was 10 pounds cheaper as well.
There was no break up of the CM Makers, the team that has developed CM from the beggining is still together, and we are currently working on making Football Managet 2005. The split was between the developers (Sports Interactive) and our former Publishers (Eidos). We have all the code and database from the cm series, while they're game (developed by newly foremd Beatutiful Game Studios) is a fresh start.
When does this game come out? Will I be able to buy it onlinewhere they will be able to ship it into the states?
As MLS Manager 2005 What type of Advertising campaign will SEGA launch in the States? At MLS games? CONCACAF WCQ?
Well, my total price ended up about UK20, so unless the pound had a major jump lately I think I came out a bit better there.
Oh, no wonder the VAT was high, I just got the package today, and they sold me 2 copies. I'll try to sell the extra, asking the Denver folks first but I'll post here if I get no joy from them.
Oh yippee, more screen shots from TCM 05 are up...Pre-ordered from the UK yesterday...I'm as happy as a little girl.
Pre-ordered from www.gameplay.co.uk it's 5 pounds less if ya pre-order. A month and a half away....damn that's going to be midterm time master's degree or TCM....hmmm.
Actually, the game might take a week to arrive pending on how much you spent on Shipping. I'm in a conundrum. Sims 2, and Fable come out in 13 days. Burnout 3 before that, and don't forget PES4 on PC, and Halo 2 in Nov! Dammit. I'm trying to succeed this semester!!! I'm already skipping class on the 9th of November.
apart from total club manager 05, are there any other good manager games for ps2 coming out soon? im also interested in LMA Manager 05 and i will be getting that.
It's though to make a *GOOD* management sim for the ps2, or any console with limited storage/memory space to be honest. If you're going to get incredibly indepth the way most of the good sims work these days, you need to be able to store tons of detail, tons of stats, etc, which becomes very hard work, for what in the end is usually very little profit, as most people who are into managment games tend to own a PC in the first place, and thus will opt for the full blooded big brother of the console game.
