Taylor Twellman underwent surgery for his fractured 5th metatarsal this week. Evidently the 5 or so weeks he spent in a walking cast after the injury was not sufficient to heal the fracture.

Everything went well and its expected that he will be able to start training again by mid-January and join the team for preseason February 1.

Limping (rather than walking) down the aisle may be a bit of problem, however.

Thanks for the update, Dr. Jay. I didn't know TnT was getting married. Local girl or someone from back in St. Luis? Hope she doesn't give him too hard of a time for the foot problem. :)

Maybe I was asleep...but did TnT have his facial surgery to correct the problems due to the hit from Califf back in August?

Or did he decide not to do this?

He had surgery on his nasal septum about 2 months ago, just after he learned his foot would keep him out for the remainder of the season.
