By my calculation, Stuart Taylor has played in 4 premiership games this season, as such when we win the league, he will need to play in 6 of the remaining 7 games to qualify for a medal. That looks like it will be tight for him to do! I hope if he does not get it, he will still stay at the club as I am sure Seaman will step down this summer, however on the other hand, Seaman might want to stick it out for one more season in the hope of going to Euro 2004!
The club also gets a number of medals to give out to players who haven't played in the requisite number fo games, but have made a significant contribution to the cause. He'd definitely be up for one that way. Also, I've got a feeling that clubs have struck medals themselves when they didn't have enough for these players who made small contributions throughout the season. Can't tell you who or for what club, I just have this feeling that it happened.
