Taylor Booth doesn't deserve this #tweutr pic.twitter.com/c4yYcZf7fy— Football 24/7 (@Foet247Benelux) February 18, 2024
Article about the "battle of the Booths" use google translate if interested. https://www.fcupdate.nl/voetbalnieu...erduidelijke-wijze-in-het-voordeel-van-taylor
man what is with the netherlands and injurious tackles? seems this happens a lot to the yanks there (or by a dutch guy) generally love to see yanks in the eredivisie....but I kinda also wonder if it is a thing there to tackle/injure good players on other teams?? dont really see the eredivisie as a physical rough and tumble league but weve seen this kinda thing more than once lately
Welp, he's not as durable as Donovan. Well, he stayed to watch the game finish ( on crutches) so it can't be too baf, right?
its a bit diffrent than durability if an opponent literally injures you idk i feel like there needs to be way harsher penalties for such things
I can't find anything. Hasnot he got something on social media, in which he posts about himself? As long as he either does talk himself about his injury or he gives permission to others to do so, you won't see anything relating his medical condition, given the costly personal data protection rules in the EU.
I dunno - a search for "Tyler Booth" Blessure brings up nothing! So strange. (I, like Feyenie, don't see anything in the dutch media at all.)
Taylor Booth seems to have avoided a long-term injury. He’s shared an update via his personal Instagram suggesting he should hopefully be back soon 🙏 #USMNT pic.twitter.com/uJugKSiSTf— State of Football (@St8ofFootball) February 21, 2024
Don't think so, but it looked bad. European privacy rules are very harsh and expensive if you violate them. So unless Booth himself, or permits someone to make public his medical condition, nobody is going to write about it.
Actually it turns out that Booth accepted the digital cookie, so his medical history can be shared with all.
Returned to the pitch over the weekend: Welcome back Taylor Booth! The #USMNT attacker played 17 minutes today off the bench against Waalwijk. His first action in over two months due to a knee injury. pic.twitter.com/FILTrqFcYk— Larry Henry Jr (@lhenry019) April 28, 2024
Amazing. I saw the utrecht score, thought to check the line-ups but then remembered he was injured. Glad he's back.
Only 3 more games to go, but Utrecht are in the playoff places for the Conference League qualifiers, which could see him have another 2 games. Would they try to get him match fit for that competition or would they keep him to cameos in regular season games and look to next season?
Because Feyenoord won the Dutch Cup, and they already qualified for the CL, the EL spot of the Cup winner goes to league spot 4, and the number 5 gets the EL ticket for the second play off round, which means you're 4 matches away from the EL group stage. Ajax with 3 matches to go are only 3 points ahead (thanks to a ref and a VAR not giving Ajax a second red player dismissal, Excelsior were robbed from the huge chance to take 3 instead of 1 point, otherwise it would only be 1 point) and given the shaky form of Ajax continuing that EL qualifying round still is possible for FC Utrecht.
Starts. Paxten Aaronson starts fro Vitesse. ❤️🤍 𝐒𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐃#utrvit pic.twitter.com/2E8shwfToj— FC Utrecht (@fcutrecht) May 5, 2024
