    giddyup!

I hope he jumps ASAP - gotta shoot for the stars and he's made a splash...any of those clubs would be very nice for him....

Also, kinda nice that Bayern won;t be benefitting off of their mismanagement of his career in the end, it seems.....shows that standing your ground and not letting the big clubs use you as cannon fodder is often a good idea (although, of course, doesnt always work out)

Bayern really should have loaned him out like they did for Richards and are currently doing for Tillman.

The did loan him out to Austria a couple years ago, and he did well. He refused an extension, so they let him chill with the reserves last year. They should’ve let him leave for free a year ago if offered a 5% sell-on fee.

I checked transfermarkt for Utrecht's outgoing transfer record: 7.4M Euros. Just for reference.

The quote said “in addition to” teams in those leagues. I get the impression that it meant a team from a different league, which could include Club Brugge, Porto, and Benfica. I’d actually be happy to see him at a club like one of those.

What would people think about a Harvey Elliott comparison for booth? To me there are similarities in terms of playing style and size. I’d also say that I think both are solid players, but not elite.

Depends. If an American kid was playing at Liverpool at 15 and starting at 19 nobody would have had any doubts regarding hiss elite status. Elliott is ahead of CP/Reyna curve, and, if Booth is there he is elite in my book.

Eh, I think that’s an oversimplification. Elliott is starting so much in large part because Liverpool’s midfield is a mess. The midfield issues are a big reason why they’ve had a disappointing year. I think Elliott has some nice skill and decent quickness, but he’s small and not very fast or powerful by EPL standards. I don’t think he has a ton of untapped potential. I think both he and Booth would be most productive as impottant starters for mid-table or Europa League quality teams in Spain.

Booth returned to the squad and made the bench today, but he did not play.

    Utrecht drew 2-2.

Booth played the first 64 minutes of a scoreless draw with Volendam. Utrecht appear to have been the better side and had two goals reversed by VAR.

Wow. 3 VAR reversals in one game? Brutal.

Fotmob game feed says Booth was taken off at 41' v. Groningen due to injury. Ouch.

Google is reporting that there were 4 subs in the 1st half. 1 for Groningen and 3 for Utrecht. Crazy. That means no subs for the latter after the 2nd half starts.

There were 6 subs, 3 each in the first half.
Edit: Krüger seems a second half sub. I assumed 46th minute was in injury time.

He got his head spilt open yesterday. Nasty gash, too. Booth has cone back down to Earth the last few weeks. He’s looked gassed to me. But no time for a rest, he’s gotta pick it up a bit. Typical ebbs and flows of young player.

Thanks. Didn‘t know that. Hope he recovers.
He definitely lost his groove before the Nats call up. All that travel, and first full season can‘t have helped.
Hope he recovers and has a solid season ending push.
