some great passes get wasted, some half-assed ones are successful. They all count.

Ah… paternal leave…. Get to watch off beat Europa League playoff matches….

Booth coming on in the 2nd half of extra-time for Twente in a very thrilling Europa League playoff vs Bodo-Glimt. Bodo won the match 3-2 in regulation - after both teams scored in stoppage time - which made it 4-4 on aggregate. Really, really good match to watch.

Bodo/Glimt scores in the 110th minute! Goal originated from attempted header off a corner that fell to the feet of another player inside the 6 and his shot was blocked on the line by a Twente defender but…. The ball was over the line.

    4-2 (5-4 on aggregate).

And Bodo/Glimt adds another in the 115th on an OG from Twente. Bodo players dribbles down the end line, GK comes out cut the angle and Bodo squares across the face of goal, hitting a defender and going in the net.

    5-2 (6-4 aggregate)

The Bodo/Glimt team is so fun to watch. That was the word on the street and I believe it.

haven’t even noticed Booth out there….

Booth starts and plays 62 minutes as Twente bounce back from European disappointment to beat NEC 2-0. Seems to have played fine.

not watching atm, but twente up early, 1-0. A win today would keep the pressure on Feyen and AZ and put Twente in 4th for a minute anyway.

Twente hold on for the 1-0 win. Booth goes 63. Twente knocks Feyenoord out of 4 (for now - Feyenie and AZ still have to play game 25) and keep things interesting in the 3-6 slots.

Booth gets the start against Feyenoord. ESPN+ carrying the match. This is a six-pointer relative to the European slots.

A tie would have been a little more to Utrecht's liking, and a lot more to Twente's liking. 5 points between 3 and 7 and both Feyenie and AZ have an extra game to play. Fight for 3 & 4 going to stay interesting.

Yes - (news for today's match)
Twente will be without several key players for this match. Booth, Lammers and Alders are all sidelined due to injuries, while Hilgers is suspended after reaching the yellow card threshold in the draw against PEC Zwolle. Lagerbielke is expected to replace Hilgers in central defence.

  18. In an interview today about the coming cracker against Ajax:
The coach left the door ajar about the return of another player: 'There is a chance that Taylor Booth is available again, but we still have to see. Tomorrow we have another training session.'
