I appreciate the goals of your suggestion, but I also would rather not. However, there could be a combined gameday thread for them while they remain on the same team.
he has soft feet. definitely will be a bit more ambitious with his long switches going forward, but i really hope he gets better fast at the mental side of the game, particularly recognizing and addressing danger.
I think he actually is a quick thinker willing to try ambitious passes and unpredictable dribbles. I think the problem is that he has never played against a team pressuring him anywhere near this aggressively, and that will take some getting used to. Hopefully that comes quickly.
i think his ability to predict danger was poor in mls too and it resulted him in looking slow when it came time to suddenly defend against a change in possession for instance
I agree with both of you guys, but it did seem like he realized he was playing too slow and starting moving quicker. I'm actually quite encouraged by the last minute or so in that reel. He's definitely a fantastic athlete and occasionally flashes very good ball skills, so if he truly does realize how much quicker he has to play and anticipate and starts acclimatizing to that speed this could be a great move for him.
I believe they said that Venezia was missing a few guys due to suspension too and they are working on a few more transfers

Man, his 1st 2 actions in the game were awful....but had a couple promising actions after that. Huge jump for him. Surprised this ever happened. He only started playing regular minutes in the last year for Dallas and wasn't really a league-wide standout. Almost seems like the Dabo connection somehow made this happen. Nonetheless hoping it's not too rocky a road this year. Speed bumps ahead. Not surprised he's on the bench now and in fact, I'd expect that most of this year. Maybe a Michael Bradley type player at his peak, in 5 years? Who knows...
Come on, there's no need to make things that complicated. They just need Jesus to smite their enemies before every game. And Satan joining in wouldn't hurt either
Why in the hell would his Dabo connection have anything to do with Venezia? And if he becomes as good as Bradley was at his peak, that would be amazing. That seems a little far fetched now, but who knows, he's got time.
