I’m aware this is a cup game, but Tanner will be playing in serie b next year.

 

PROMOTE THE ... stupid cup match, never mind. But big props on the quick debut.

 

Im very pessimistic about this whole Venezia situation and I’ve never felt more certain about anything soccer related before. They are assuredly getting relegated absent something miraculous on the transfer market or on the field.

Not that I’m opposed to Busio/Tessman playing in Serie B at 20 years old. That doesn’t bother me at all.

 

Game finished 1-1 after extra time and went to PKs. Tessmann missed his but Venezia still advanced.

 

I missed the PKs (not a big fan of). Venezia was not a fun watch; maybe Busio can make things interesting.

It's 0-0 at the break, and Venezia is in position to push for the win because of a strange red card decision by the referee that has sent Napoli down to 10 men.

Let's see if Tessman plays in the second half.

 

Especially with 2/3 midfielders on yellow cards. I’m sure Venezia will want to keep their man advantage.

Not surprised Tessman is a bench player given what I saw from him at FC Dallas; which was good, not great play in MLS.

Agreed. Plus their careers can (and likely will) take completely different paths, so better to keep them separate IMO.
