🤣 ¡NOVATADA A KUBO! 🤣 Le hacen cantar la canción de DORAEMON... ¡en JAPONÉS! 🇯🇵pic.twitter.com/K61n0J651D— El Chiringuito TV (@elchiringuitotv) August 28, 2020 Safe to say Kubo won’t go the Jesé route and attempt a musical career lol
ISNT THAT RACIST I mean, cool that the guys are getting along and joking around. Hope he has a good year
The piece of shits at Villarreal are wasting Kubo. I believe we should rip him away in January at the latest if things dont change around quickly. He played 55 mins out of a possible 450 mins. Given how many suitors he had over the summer, this is unacceptable. We should never lend Villlarreal any of our players again. https://www.managingmadrid.com/2020...-with-villarreals-management-of-takefusa-kubo
Still wonder what we were thinking, Kubo would have had about as many minutes here had he stayed, more even. Hope we get him out of there in January.
Villareal has so many attacing players, why did we loaned him to them ?Cociedad was perfect, they needed a replacement for Odegaard and playing time was guaranteed . ANd yes he should have stayed,he is far better than Rodrygo,Lucas and the fat loser
His start at Villarreal is similar to his start at Mallorca where he had to improve and prove himself to be worthy of a starting spot. I’d be worried if Kubo or thr club thought his start at Villarreal wouldn’t begin in a similar way. He made the decision to join a higher tier in the league because it affords him a better development once he starts becoming more established within his new team.
It's a custom on almost every team. Michael Ballack had to perform a song in the locker room when he signed with Chelsea. Not responding to you because you knew that already but somebody might not and it's a fun way to integrate new guys into the squad.
He's getting minutes outside of the spotlight, whereas with Madrid every touch every pass every mistake would be talked about for an entire week.
Spot on. He’s leveled up to a higher tier of team. If it takes him a little while to get going that’s fine. Playing every minute of every game at Elche or whoever wouldn’t mean he’s ready to play in the CL for us next season. I don’t think Emery has anything against him. Maybe he just isn’t ready yet. Hopefully he ends up being a starter for the second half of the season if not earlier.
I get that but if Vinnie, Rodrygo, Fede etc... can handle it so can Kubo, Ideally he go on a loan to a different team, one that'd start him.
Who said anything about coddling him? You’re acting as if I’m asking for some talentless hack to get undeserved minutes simply because, he is too talented to be playing garbage minutes for a team like this Villareal, which many of you seem to think is the Villareal of 2006-2010 or something given by the constant “ well he’s jumped several tier higher so this is expected”, they’re not, they’re an average La Liga side currently and I’d be surprised if they finished top 6 this season. He should have gone to Granada or Sociedad, teams which coaches that actually nurture talent.
The kid has a lot of talent. He will win his place there. You just can't deny on the long run that he is better than the others even when your name is Emery and you're dumb. I'd have loved to keep him in our squad. He is way better than anyone we have on the right. But we spent 40m on Rodrygo and he is holding an extra community spot.
Emery on Take's minutes: https://www.espn.com/soccer/villarr...o-being-held-back-by-unai-emery-at-villarreal In the same article, Graham Hunter says this "This smacks of a lack of confidence in his men from Emery, an old-fashioned Catenaccio-style thinking, an ultra-conservatism which always, always states: "It's better never to risk and thus avoid defeat than it is to roll the dice, stretch for a victory but then head home beaten." It's an outdated, old-fashioned philosophy which is very far from how the people who hired him think about things."
First of all, Graham Hunter is just bad. Second of all, in this sense it's not necessarily a bad take (pardon the pun), but it comes down to this: the coach has no obligation or incentive to develop players for other teams. At the end of the day he's held responsible for the results of his team. It's a risk we should have assessed when we completed this loan move.
True. Ceballos and Brahim are turning out fine and their coaches have even more pressure to perform. If his assessment is that Take doesn't have the quality over 12 other players in freaking Villarreal then we should take him back without a shred of remorse. Send him elsewhere. This isn't Nuri Sahin.
