    *^%$%^**&$$ polls!

Rank the forwards! Note: As former Richmond kickers forwards are OBVIOUSLY better than any other forward, they are not in this poll.

List also your all-time worst forwards for DCU (who, alas, couldn't make this poll).

Back to back 18 goal years. I'd take Roy in his prime.

I got to pick my personal favorite: Steve Rammel

Probably our most important forward, if not the best (that would be a hard argument to make). We weren't scoring much when he came along, and he put in some of the greatest garbage goals in MLS history. Off the knee, off the hip, thru traffic, all Etch or the other forwards had to do was get the ball in the box and in some ugly way, Steve would put the ball in the net.

Moreno and tough second choice (Lassiter, Eski, or Rammel). I will go with Rammel - never seen a player do more with less but amazing heart.

RDA still holds the record for most goals in a season by a DC player, doesn't he?

Moreno and Diaz Arce. I like it when people throw nachos at me. I swear.

Moreno and Lassiter. In terms of skill and ability, it's not even comparable. But for the two forwards who've played the best for DCU and made the biggest difference, I think it's those two.

Now, how about "the couldn't score in a $2 whorehouse" pair of forwards? I nominate: Crawley and Berthy-Suarez

I voted for Jaime. And I see he's blowing away the competition. Being a key part of all 5 DC United teams that made it to MLS Cup has its benefits.

I think only Diaz Arce and Lassiter can be put in his league and they didn't spend nearly as long with the team. Esky, Tino and Freddy could one day surpass Jaime's achievements but their careers are just getting started.

I don't think that's fair to say. I think that Esky, Tino and Freddy may someday be able to match Jaime's achievements. Maybe.

    ????????

I think we're saying the same thing. I mean that Esky, Tino and Freddy are not yet in Jaime's class. But one day they might be.

Jamie is obviously the king, and if we are choosing him in his prime, then his running mate is a tough choice. Purely based upon ability/success to date, I am going to go with RDA version 1.0. I think its a toss up between Roy and RDA, but I am going to go with RDA because I think he compliments the blazing fast young Jamie better than Lassiter. RDA was a poacher, but was a clinical finisher in front of the net, and damn, damn good in the air. If we were taking the slow, plodding Jamie of today, I would select Lassiter for his speed. Esky certainly has a chance to surpass both RDA and Roy, but at this time, I don't think he can be ranked ahead of them.
